Best drive thru service — I had to change my order several times but server greeted with a smile. She was kind and went above and beyond. Great service. Give her employee of the month ! I think her name was Jessica. Excellent !

El pollo loco is an amazing place to go eat. I’ve been eating there for years. This location is close to my neighborhood and very convenient for me to go eat at. Aside from the restaurant itself, I receive excellent customer service here. Alicia is always happy to assist me, and she always keeps a smile on her face. She has a very friendly vibe and provides a positive atmosphere. I will continue eating here, and I will refer my friends to this location.

El Pollo Loco is great and amazing. I been eating at Pollo Loco since I was a boy. I recently came to the Pollo Loco on saticoy and louise in van nuys, I have to say I don’t even feel like coming back. There was 1 person in particular working drive-thru, I believe her name is Alice, or Alicia super rude from the beginning to end. This reflects poorly on management and not just the employee. I understand you guys have a busy store, but customer service is key and vital anywhere. «Staff», I believe you need treat people right and not ignore them, this person completely ignored me, you can’t move on to the next customer if I’m not yet satisfied or in need of something. The food is great!

El Pollo Loco is one my favorite restaurants. However my visit to this particular location today didn’t meet expectations. 1. Dried chickens served. It’s not acceptable. Loco is a nationwide restaurant corporation. Quality of food served should be the same regardless of time and location. 2. Server girl didn’t say«thank you» when I even said thank you after ordering. She only was trying to talk to people behind. I’m not trying to be politically correct but severs always must be enthusiastic and respectful to serve customers. They must be trained. So two stars for today’s visit.

This place is awesome! From the service to the food, everyone is welcoming and make you feel appreciated. The service is fast they don’t make you wait a long time like some other places. I like that I can go during my lunch and still have enough time to go to work eat and chill. I love the chicken tostada salad as well as the $ 2 tacos.

Ok, after another year of coming here, they gotten better and better. Always clean, fresh food, and the employees including one of the managers called Mariela always make you feel welcome, drive thru is also great. You ask for stuff politely and they give it to you.

I spent $ 33.00 and ask for a package of ranch for my polo bowl girl said it’s extra I told her no I never had to pay before and I just spent $ 33.00. She said sorry that they charge now. After being told they out of this and that, plus they don’t carry corn on the cob any more. I had enough of this location. Worse yet the management on duty stood right next to the girl and did not say a word. Last we got a kids meal and the did not even have a kids bag to put it in. This location is so cheap I wonder what else they are doing I hope I got real chicken. For us Will go to another location that had better customer service. Please runway

Went to El Pollo Loco for the first time in my life today because I friend acted super shocked I hadn’t ever been and made me feel like I’m missing out. I definitely was missing out on anything. I ordered the chicken nachos that came with some weird watery fake cheese sauce that tasted like flour. It had a dollop of sour cream and guacamole on there and lots of pinto beans =[ Also I got the Chicken and shrimp tostada. There were 3 pieces of cold shrimp. maybe two teaspoons of chicken and tiny bit of sour cream and guacamole. Not tasty at all. I also got a side of the mango salsa, mango hard and no where close to being ripe, not good at all. Creamy cilantro was not creamy. The food also came out within seconds, which is weird. I guess everything is just assembled already. I didn’t like the food at all. Not even a little bit and it all went into the trash. But I will say that the service was really nice. The guy that was helping me was new and his coworkers were super attentive and helped out. And they kept the place really clean.

I am really disappointed. The cashier that took my order not only wasn’t paying attention but didn’t put everything I ordered in the bag. Aris R needs to pay more attention at the job. I told him what I wanted and he kept saying it wrong and then when I went to pay he was talking to someone and didn’t even realize I was there. I didn’t think he would mess up my order but did, I got charged for two corns on the cobs and because he wasn’t paying attention I got charged for them but didn’t get them. I don’t appreciate that and as me being in customer service I know what it’s like to give your best customer service and I did not receive that today.

Try a different location because this place is terrible. I could hear the most obnoxious chopping noise over the drive thru intercom which made it really hard to hear. It obviously made it hard for the employee too because I had to repeat my order 3 times. I asked for corn as a side and she proceeded to ask me 4 times if I wanted corn on the cob or «new corn.» What is new corn? The menu says corn and corn on the cob. If I just say corn, shouldn’t that be pretty clear? I asked for no ice in my drink and whaddya know… cup with more ice than soda. The drive thru is almost impossible to get in and out of depending on the time you go because it’s right off the street. Drive a minute in any direction and you’ll find a better location.

Just ordered a Pablano avocado burrito and it was delicious. I did have the taste buds to have a carne asada taco but i just found out they got rid of them. I dont know why they discontinued it the steak was good for being a fast food kind of meat. I hope they bring it back.

You want healthy good food… Something that will not get you bloated and still fill you up. Come here to the crazy chicken place. I have been at other el polo loco locations and because of the service I received from Jovane I will continue to come back. He was very compassionate, considerate and has an amazing spirit. Kristy has a great staff here keep up the great work.

Recently remodeled location. Staff is fairly friendly and helpful. One of my favorite improvements is the seating arrangements along with the strategic placement of the salsa bar right at the counter. This seems to help keep it stocked up better than previous layout, especially during the lunch rush. The coupons in the mail are a staple in our household as we are frequent diners at this locale. The only complaint I would state is the music seems to be a tad too loud.

I went tonight after the gym and ordered a 3 piece white meal, with side salad and corn. i get home and half way through my salad, what i thought was a tortilla chip was a cleaned off leg bone! WTH? Totally lost my appetite. Was this some trash thrown in, or someone eating in the back and tossed into the middle of my salad? This location is near me and usually never have a problem, but this totally grossed me out! I called the manager and she said I could come back for a new meal. Really do not feel well now. Not sure i will ever come back to this location. YUCK!

Recently remodeled(from the outside from what I saw) but what they should have focused on is improving their customer service and drive thru order speaker! Honestly I have never been more annoyed with a drive thru experience. My mom anted Pollo Loco so I went with m aunt to get 2 Chicken Brest, Large Sides of Rice and Beans, and a Pollo Loco Side Salad. Simple right? Apparently not because they not only got my order wrong after I repeated it 5 times(no exaggeration) but then I had to deal with the RUDE«Manager» Mari(Marisol). I went to place my order, there was no cars in front of me, I was greeted almost instantly over the loud speaker and offered their new menu items, typical, I declined it and placed my order(yes the one I repeated). Since I didn’t see the small side salad I on the Menu(that got upgraded as well) I asked, she first acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about, however after after going back and forth(rudely) we got to the right menu item. She repeated my order and gave me my total. When I pulled up to the window, Mari was taking another order, repeated my total, and took my payment, she seemed very rush and was EXTREMELY rude! I got my order and review to see if it was complete… sure enough the rice was missing. When I told her she was like you didn’t order rice. I’m almost 100% sure I repeated myself just as many times as in this Unilocal review. When I went to look at my receipt she said it’s in the bag. Nevermind that it wasn’t in there first off, but during the entire time I tried to get her attention she’s taking an order, sliding the window opened and closed in the middle on my sentence and making comments in Spanish like I wouldn’t understand! I asked to talked to a manager and that’s when she informed me that she was a manager, when I expressed my displeasure with her service she then became a but more polite, but still rude! I’m sorry but if that’s the example set my management team I’m happy I don’t usually go to this location and now how no intention to return! Remodel your customer service and management not just the facility.
