Im so SAD I didnt get a chance to taste the food but it smelled delicious and the fact that some of the profits go towards saving dogs really made my night. And i’ll definatley be back to try out the hot dogs!

What can I say, Charlie has the BEST wieners. This is not a normal down town dog we all know of. Way bigger, way better, way more creative and also vegetarian options. Amazing way to end the night. The guy is pretty cool also. Thanks Charlie

His hot dog truck is right outside the bar so super convenient to grab a bite when you get the drunchies. Charlie came inside to introduce himself to let us know who he was, what he was selling, and that some of the proceeds go to helping dogs! Friendly guy, great service (credit cards accepted!), and most importantly the hot dogs are on point. I had the Cali Weiner (check out some of the other Unilocaler’s pictures for the menu with ingredients), and it was great, especially since he wasn’t stingy with the guacamole (made by his girlfiend!) :D If you happen to run by his food truck, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Dam, super delish! Had the cali dog. I wasn’t expecting much, but it was way better then anything I imagined. The guacamole was on point! I’m pretty picky about my guacamole and this one was seasoned perfect! With a slight taste if mayo, light onion and the right amount of bacon! If you see it, try a dog.

Most delicious hot dogs!!! Such a creative menu and even vegan options! I was at the Other Door bar and they served hot dogs right outside. Accept credit card payments. Friendly service and quality food!

Right outside oaks tavern 6 nights a week… Must try. Amazing hotdogs (coming from a not someone who’s not a huge fan of hotdogs) guy is super nice and a percentage goes to spay or neuter! Amazing.

We found this amazing awesomeness right outside of the Oaks Tavern on Moorpark and Woodman. Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Greasy Hot Rocket and it was an explosion of the best flavors you could expect on a hotdog. It had it all — roasted jalapeños, bacon, cheese, onions and other stuff. Pure heaven. What I was especially impressed by was the setup. So charming, clean and organized. Not your typical food truck at all. The owner was awesome too! Very nice guy.

We had Charlie’s Wieners at our Eagle Rock Nights Block Party. Everyone loved him!!! We really enjoyed having him. His hot dogs were amazing. We had a hot dog with bacon and guacamole. It was sooooo good! We will definitely have him back again!

Uhm, the Hawaiian is literally the best hot dog I’ve ever had. Its delicious, fresh, and super flavorful. If you run into this truck, eat, eat, eat.
Just do yourself a favor. They even have gluten free options which is rad.

Great food and service. He’s super friendly and helpful outside the oaks tavern. My favorite is the greasy hot rocket which will not let you down. Especially after a night of drinking.

Charlie’s wieners are the best hot dogs ever! My favorite thing is the pickle relish… It’s real dill pickle deliciousness! These dogs totally hit the spot, especially after a few drinks at the bar! Thank god Charlie’s Weiner’s takes credit cards

I always run into these guys when I go to the oaks tavern. This last time I had the Cali dog and the Hawaiian dog. Yes, they were so good I had to have two! I also like that they have turkey and chicken sausage, and will do a lettuce wrap dog too! So all of my health freak friends can join in on my foodie adventures. Lol

OMG THESE WIENERS ARE AMAZING!!! Plus the guy is so nice and cute! Try the Cali with bacon and guacamole it is so good.

Wow! Let me just say!!! With no exaggeration… these are THE BEST hot dogs I’ve ever had. And I was born and raised in the city of Chicago! So yes, they are better than Chicago dogs!
Let me start off by saying that Austin and Jordan are two of the coolest and sweetest guys ever. Now let me say, as they will tell you, I pull all of my friends in from the outside and bring them all the way to their hot dog truck to eat one of their specialty dogs!
My personal favorite is the Mystery Dog, extra meaty with bacon, although they recently renamed it the Cali Dog, and although you can still add bacon it now comes standard «extra meaty» (which means it’s a ¼ pound wiener standard).
Gourmet dogs, super cool guys, you can’t go wrong! You’re missing out if you don’t go partake!
