Food is good and it is very convenient as it is close to my office. Everyone has always been kind and helpful. Prices are reasonable and the service is quick. A great place to grab a quick meal that is real food and not«fast food».

Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and was greeted by the same unhappy lady at the counter as last time. I asked for a breakfast sandwich and she forgot the mayonnaise again! How hard is it to remember for the 2 minutes it takes to make the egg? I was really looking forward to the café con leche but it tasted like they used water from the water hose. Overall pretty disappointing this morning.

Been going here for years — steam table offerings are always fresh and have a nice variety Pretty decent Cuban and the roast pork sandwich is also well done. I do feel they are a little expensive compared to other Cuban places closer to downtown. They also should clearly label(or at least know what is vegetarian) — took some family there and conflicting answers on yellow rice

This grub is spot-on if you’re in the mood for Cuban food, it is cafeteria style so you pick what looks good to you. Quick service and reasonable prices. Friendliness of staff could use a bit of work but overall I feel welcome here. Big fan of their yucca and yellow rice, definitely worth stopping by if you want a quick and satisfying lunch.

A decent cuban at a decent price. Good papa rellena… and the girl at the register is always really nice.

Really good Cuban sandwiches. For something more substantial order the ropa vieja or roast pork. They’re both great but make sure you’re REALLY hungry as they definitely don’t hold back on portions. Also make sure to get a café con leche. I travel a lot for work and wish I could find someplace outside of Florida that makes that wonderful mixture of happiness!

ABSOLUTLEYTERRIBLE!!! We ordered for pick up, the prices we not the same as they are their online menu(about $ 10 more for my order) the food was cold and OLD. The«Alex special» was probably the only decent thing we got but certainly NOT worth the $ 7! The devil crabs were old and cold, the potato ball was a joke, seriously a joke. All it was, was deep fried mashed potatoes topped with hamburger meat and the best was the plantains! 5 measley cold, burnt little plantains! When I called up there to tell them about this, the owner was beyond RUDE claimed they just made everything fresh(far from it) and never bothered to replace or refund my $ 30. I’ve been in the hospitality business for well over 8 years, I know how it all works and clearly this guy has no clue how to keep a customer happy! Needless to say, we will never go back. He’s not even Latino pretty sure he’s greek. Don’t waste your money or time here, go to the Latin Café or The Latino Supermarket. Twice the food, FRESH and very friendly.

This used to be a great Cuban Restaurant until the owner hired this lady server who gives out very small portions of lunch entries. I came in today and ordered my usual lunch special to go chicken sausage yellow rice and black beans and felt I was ripped off for the price that I paid. When I got home to eat my lunch I counted the chicken strips and sausages in the box and was disappointed because there were only 3 small pieces of chicken, 2 tiny sliced sausages, the yellow rice was probably half a cup, everything else were red bell peppers and the black beans was very watery. Memo to the owner, once you compromise quantity portions you start losing regular customers.

I’ve been eating here since 2005 and it’s always been good food. The menu is very authentic and very good. Small casual atmosphere with friendly staff. If you’re looking for good Cuban food you won’t be disappointed.

This little place is a block from my house. I knew I was in trouble the day I moved in. La Cubanita ended a 10 year caffeine hiatus. The best Café con Leche and breakfast around. Fantastic roast pork, entries, and delicious Cubans. Try the Alex, a Cuban sandwich with piles of fresh roast pork. I love this place.

Ive been here twice and both times, the cuban sandwiches i had were delicious. The bread is slathered with lots of butter right before its pressed, creating the most perfectly crispy bread. The cuban special is a cuban with croquettes and special sauce on it. The croquettes give it a different taste with some added creaminess. I prefer the regular cuban just because its so well made. It doesn’t need anything extra on it. The sandwiches run about 4.99 a piece with no sides. The best deal is if you can find a coupon, you can get a sandwich, chips, and drink for 4.99. They have lots of good looking food on the hot bar as well. I haven’t tried any of it yet, but heard its great.

Love this place for lunch. The Alex Special is awesome, great twist on the traditional pressed Cuban sandwich but with fresh roast pork, YUM. Also great gyros and salads. Don’t get me wrong their ropa vieja, picadillo, platanos, are great too, and the stuffed potatoes are killer. You must try it.

Best Saturday breakfast place! Why? Because only on Saturdays do they have empanadas. Ask for beef empanadas! The best around! The crust is light and flaky!

Love the mojo pork! Café Con Leche on Saturday morning is the best with cheese toast.
