Had a little time to kill, so I decided to get a haircut and shave. Looked through various reviews, and decided on this place… glad I did. Devin was my barber and he stirred up good conversation, while totally understanding what I wanted from my admittedly obscure description. Normally, I don’t let others touch my beard, but he can fix up mine anytime. The place is very unsuspecting, and you literally have to look for it, so be on the look out. There are only two chairs, so I would recommend calling ahead or booking through their website. In addition, I used a Unilocal coupon to save some cash. Haircut, beard trim, and shave all for $ 15. Worth looking around for, as I am glad I found a good barber that made my hair look good. Hair Cuttery and other franchises charge even more, and you don’t get the same treatment, grooming, or homemade products.

Probably the worst haircut I’ve ever received. Normally I don’t write reviews, in fact I never have, but I was the best man in my brothers wedding and the barber knew it and still did half-​ass job. My hair is uneven and I left with hair still all over me, never even bothered to brush it off. Awful. If I could give negative stars I would. Had to fix my hair myself after leaving.

Best haircut I’ve gotten in Valpo, and for only $ 10 if you’re a student at VU! The guys are really chill and the wait time isn’t that long. They have TV but you’ll probably be more entertained by the conversations you have with everyone in the shop. You know those barber shops were a bunch of guys can come, talk, and just have a good time while getting a clean cut? Well, this is one of those places. You feel at home and the guys, Todd and Devin, show the upmost respect. They do fades, and stuff like that but also do business like haircuts. The guys deal with all types of hair from curly African American hair to straight. They take credit, debit and cash. They have a bathroom as well. By the way, they give you a free haircut on your birthday! What other barber shop does that?!
Summary: Great place, great price and most importantly a great haircut. Definitely coming back

Todd does a phenomenal job! He cut my Godson’s hair and it was exactly how he wanted it!
