Was told my food would be ready in 30, but was ready in 20. When I was driving home all I could smell was dough. Couldn’t recognize the smell of pizza at all. When I got home, I started with my sausage & pepperoni sandwich. It was pretty good. The bread was nice and toasted but it had almost no sauce. Then I got to the pizza. And my suspicions were right. Very doughy. I felt like I was eating a soft pretzel with sauce. I don’t think they added any time in the oven to compensate for the thick crust. I ate 2 pieces and I’m done.
I’ll probably go back again, but don’t know if I’ll try another pizza.

Good tasting pizza. I especially like the deep dish. The deep dish crust is folded over and is like a calzone. You can order a party size which is very big, this I like.
They have very poor/​rude telephone etiquette. Honestly ridiculous to be rude over the phone. If you need to put someone on hold do not answer the phone and immediately put them on hold without any response from the customer. Sound chipper and happy, not like it’s the worst possible thing that someone would be placing an order. Say «thank you for calling JJ’s how can I help you?» Say thank you when hanging up. Say I apologize for the wait if you put someone on hold. Regular stuff.
Give it a try if you can put up with some bs over the phone. Taste 5⁄5 Rudeness 5⁄5.

We are from Chicagoland and love Gino’s East and Lou’s, so we were worried about finding a good pizza place out here and we are so happy to have found J&J’s. We had it for my son’s first birthday and had a lot of people from Chicago and they loved it too. Love the cheese and the salads.

Pizza was OK but lacked sauce. It was rather dry but there was plenty of meat and condiments on it. We ate in the dining room which did not have much atmosphere so I wouldn’t advise staying around to eat your purchase at there location, better off taking it home and enjoying an evening in front of the TV.
