Jeep goes down on thursday. Steaming. Sputtering. Check engine light. One shop said over1200 without seeing it. Gils does it for under 500 and found 4 things going wrong. Called me to quote and discuss. I was in the road again saturday. i can trust them.

I’ve never been here (or in Valpariaso at all for that matter) but these people allowed someone to use my credit card number (no physical card, no signature, no security number) from MARYLAND to make a charge. How moronic and irresponsible (or perhaps criminal, if this was intentional on their part) can you get?

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE EVER! The owner is extremely unprofessional and beyond rude… this whole business is a total joke. The staff has no idea how to fix a car, let alone provide ANY customer service. They will only fix what you think is wrong, instead of looking at the car and finding the real problem like a REAL MECHANIC would do. Obviously these people are in the wrong line of business… We will never be back and will tell any potential future customers to seriously look elsewhere. Don’t waste your time or money.

Student studying at Valparaiso University so I’m on a budget! Let me break it down for you, I had to get an oil change for my Jeep Liberty and called numerous places for prices since I wasn’t familiar with the area. Some places charge 27.99−38.99 for an 02 Jeep. I decided to take it in early September and now again December to Gills for the oil change and it really has been great! My oil with everything was 28 for each and hasn’t given me any problems. They check all your fluids and tires so you’re ready for the road! My engine light recently turned on and also asked to give me an estimate for it and they gladly explained it to me and what the problem might be. So if you’re a student on a budget or need car service come here they are as legitimate as it can get in Valparaiso!
