East Pointe Apartments

I have been a resident of east pointe for many years, and I love it here! A friend of mine was looking for a place to rent and she came on here and then told me of the previous reviews. I can’t, as you should not, believe them! I am 44 years old (not ancient) and love the community! My landlady Donna is very pleasant and takes care of us that don’t cause problems. She makes it a safe place to live as long as you follow the rules, which are explained to you prior to moving in. Love my apartment!

One of the absolute worst places to live. Apartments are cheaply built. The property manager, Donna Kovalick, is horribly evil and sounds like the wicked witch of the west on the phone and in person (so annoying to talk to her plus she is highly uneducated). She has many minions aka spies that keep track of your every movement and report back to her. She also uses her minions to break into apartments and check on things. Donna has no qualms about breaking in to your apartment (you will never get notified or receive a not that tells you someone broke in and entered). Donna has absolutely no respect whatsoever for the tenants. She gets very angry when you mention anything is wrong. She will try to steal all your deposit money. She makes up convenient lies to get all your money such as a $ 70 cleaning, a $ 80 carpet cleaning, and oh mold that showed up that you caused some how which will cost you $ 700 and voila your security deposit is gone. The parking is horrible as everyone takes all the spots with visitors (the spies are trying to catch the violators and catch their own tenants instead!). Maintenance is slow and horrible. Snow removal is very slow. The apartments are in a great spot near stuff but save your money and look for something else. Donna and her minions are not worth the trouble. Also, this place is becoming a new retirement community filled with old people who gossip (and by old, I mean ancient people who are awake at 4:30 am tracking people’s movements). Document everything that goes wrong here, you will need it. Stay away from East Pointe, Donna and her ancient, stuck up minions.
Buy a house, live near a bridge, rent a trailer, or live with your parents… avoid this place like the plague! I would never, ever recommend this place!

There is a reason I have not yet bought a house. This place is quiet and well priced. This is not for the typical apt dweller. Your crazy loud neighbors will get kicked out of here in a second
