Just had an awful experience at this place… called in on Monday to set up a spray tan, and was told that the owner had to do it, and I could come in on Fri morn at 9am to do it. I am getting married in two days, and I am from out of state. My mom drops me off at nine am only to be told that I had to come back after 2p, and that they tried to call me. I had no calls from Bahamas. I asked the lady what time to come back… she said 2p. I come back at 2p, only to be told that there are 3 others that need a tan as well, with a chuckle by the same lady who was there in the morning. At this point, I replied, this is not fair because I came in at 9a, and was told to come back at 2p, and now again I have to wait? The lady said she would go get Katherine the person who said she had called me to let me know to come at 2p. When Katherine comes, I tell her that I did not receive any phone calls about coming in at 2p. Katherine immediately responds with an attitude stating that ‘1st of all, she was not the one to schedule the apptmt or the one who tried to call me,’ I said that she did not need to get an attitude with me, and said I could go elsewhere. She said ‘there’s the door!’ Never in my life have i ever been told that by a business. I used to tan at this salon when i was in HS, and will tell everyone I know in NWI not to use this place. I responded with some unsavory words to Katherine, and stormed out. I called back and asked to speak with the owner, who i was told was out of town for the long holiday weekend… even though I was originally told that she would be the one who was doing my spray tan. It was Katherine who answered the phone, and I explained to her that the other woman was the one who informed me she was the one who called me to tell me I needed to come in later. Katherine responded with saying that she just found out yesterday that she had to come in today and do spray tans. I told her that was not my fault, nor was it my problem, and why did she take it out on me with an attitude. This place is poorly managed, poorly organized, poor communications(both internally and externally), and poor customer service skills. I do intend upon following up on this with the owner and likely the BBB!
