Course closed as of June 1, 2012. Played on Monday 05/28/2012…course was still in fantastic condition… unless you were in certain bunkers, which were showing the landscape fabric through the sand in certain areas… but who goes in bunkers anyways, right? Looks like the larger parcel was sold and the future of Trinitas is bleak, if not done. Spoke with the owners each time I played there, and they were always friendly, even on this most recent round when there was no hope on the horizon. What an amazing couple. They and this course will be missed greatly.

It’s nice that the course owners have at least one shill reviewing for them. However, time for a reality check. The course is interesting, but with a ton of blind shots. You will stand on a bunch of the tees and wonder where the H am I supposed to hit? Then you will hit it where you think you are supposed to, cart down to your ball and realize you were wrong. The GPS on the carts is essentially useless, as the pictures don’t reflect the layout in an accurate way and don’t offer correct advice on where to hit. In all fairness, after playing it once, I think it would be much more fun the next time. Tip: don’t play in the summer, it is freekin’ HOT.

Well, after all the hype from people and«talk», we finally tried it. The course is pretty and that is about all. If you’re not an experienced golfer, I wouldn’t suggest blowing $ 75 – 100 a round. Attacking pins require placing shots on fairway. Course isn’t the longest, so it explains why a good tee shot is important. Holes were just«funky» to us. People in front and back of us kept complaining the whole time, so it didn’t help. They were all over the place! This guy did a good job at designing his own course. Props to that!
