Vallejo Yacht Club is awesome! It’s members are quite friendly and there are tons of activities throughout the year to participate in. Great location and great racing.

Vallejo YC is the gateway to the Delta and year after year, they host boaters at their guest docks for over night transit and they do a damn fine job. The club is located just inside the entrance for the Napa river and is the first marina that you will encounter as you cruise up the Mare Island straits. I will always remember the kindness of their club members when I was leaving the club and needed to return the key in exchange for the deposit they had been holding. The club manager was tied up else where, but a member offered to take the key and gave me his own money as the deposit so I can leave on time with the tide. How can you top that?
As for the food, they have a good dining room in the club and serve dinners on the weekends. As in most cases, the food is good, but the ambiance more than make up for any other short comings.
