It’s a Toys R Us, so you pretty much know what to expect before you walk in. My daughter had a ton of Christmas money to blow, and a new WII for which she wanted some games. Thus this review is strictly for the gaming/electronics section in the back of the store. I came all the way from Vacaville, which is about a 35 minute drive, and it was totally worth the drive out here! The guys back in the gaming center were so nice to us! They were super knowledgeable and helpful; explaining several games and their features to my 9 year old and I. She purchased 2 games and character pack for the Disney Infiniti that goes with her new WII. Sadly the check-out process at the front of the store was painfully slow, so be warned you may have to stand in line for longer than you like. Otherwise, though, I have nothing but nice things to say! Bravo Toys R Us! You have just made two new loyal customers!

I didn’t get the young lady’s name working customer service, but DANG, she was so helpful and did not hesitate to get me the game I needed at sale price. For those of you who don’t know about the Pie Face Game craze, well, it’s real. I drove all the way from Fairfield bc this location not only had it in stock, but the young lady put one on hold for me!!! Thank you for being so helpful during his crazy holiday season!!!

Only reason Im giving a 5 star is because I received Excellent customer service from Mayaika. I was just there at the store at 9:30am and she was the only one doing customer service, and ringing up customers for their purchases. She had a long line and she was all by her self. I admire her for her excellent customer service for each and every customer. Mayaika once again Thank you for an excellent customer service. To toys r us: you guys should have more people on floor, to help customers, especially during the holidays.

Train your employees to have a positive and professional attitude even if customers turn down the card. If they don’t make their quota for the day, well, tough! I replied«yes» and«no» to various questions, example: Did you find everything okay? «yes.» Do you have a card. «No.» Would you like to apply for a card and save. «No.» Then he attempts, Are you sure you don’t want a card? «Yes, I’m sure I don’t want a card» Then the employee asked with a sarcastic tone, Would you like a bag? «No». Listen, why do you have to ask me for a bag? Put the 1 item in the bag, that’s your job. The nerve of this guy to have an attitude. I’m not here to have a conversation. This is why I prefer ordering online at that store that starts with an A.

People here are courteous and the have everything you need. My issue is they are always saying Shop Vallejo, but most stores in Vallwji don’t open until 10am. Some people have already done more than most by 20am

First we want to thank Kris!!! He made it all possible! We go to toys r us on the regular & for many years! We have four kids… due to having four children we are limited in what we can get as it is. Kaos trap crystals are available online for 5 – 10 times the actual cost… which is ridiculously wrong! But every now & then toys make it back on the shelf & go super fast! Because of this alone we will always hit toys r us up first! Thanks for making one of our boys so happy!

Here’s an easy one… If you’re supposed to be open until 9:30pm(or whenever the posted close time is) then don’t lock the doors prior to that. And if you do happen to try to get a jump on leaving work«on time» and lock doors early, be prepared to open the doors for those who do show up and don’t leave ‘em hangin’. Easy. 2 stars… because when they do have the doors open they’re not the worst place to buy toys and baby stuff.

This Toys R Us is by far my favorite of all. It is clean and employees are nice and helpful. I placed an online order and shortly received the confirmation to pick it up. What I really liked is that you can go to a computer(located in the Babies R Us section of the store, by the registry), enter your information and an associate brings out your purchase! Can’t get any easier than that. I was looking for certain toys that I couldn’t find anywhere in my hometown so we trekked our way over here… the drive was worth it when my daughter saw her toys: D

This location is decent sized and fairly clean but the selection of toys is mild. When you walk in it’s going to feel like a ghost town because there is hardly any staff actually working here !!! They only have one cash register open, which makes the line go really slow … We were looking for a specific item that we just could not find and we walked the store twice trying to find any associate but there were none ! So they lost business. Oh well, most toys r us aren’t what they used to be anymore.

Impressive!!! I ordered online, paid via Paypal, came in, clicked on the link once I received my email that my item was ready, and within minutes a worker came out and gave me my order! Went in today looking for a gift for my 10 year old nephew and ran into a beautiful woman and the 9 year old boy she was watching after! We helped each other out and found what we were looking for together. Staff was very friendly, but I’m more interested in the woman in the yellow top and jeans!!! Store had a great start. Everything was well-stocked, neat, and the team members were eager to be pleasant and help with any questions. I go there frequently, and it is unfortunate for me to say but the quality had taken a huge dive. Team members are incompetent and unhelpful. They don’t honor or respect their customers. On more than one occasion I have come across somebody who was either unpleasant, poorly trained, and always with a sour attitude or poor customer service. This includes the manager(Nina, I think?) who was quick to dismiss my complaint about only having one lane open with a huge line(we’re talking about a 15 minute wait, and i was only three people behind the front) and an unapologetic cashier who had extreme difficulty ringing up the simplest purchases. Another time I went to return the wrong formula I purchased, to which they refused my return or exchange without a receipt. Never had that happen in retail before – they usually do store credit. After a huge ordeal with the customer service associate trying to look up my purchase using my debit card and rewards card, she informed me I did not purchase it at babies r us. I later found out that since I had purchased it at a different babies r us, they couldn’t have retrieved my purchase information from my rewards card. Well thanks for letting me know that! No apology for the inconvenience it caused me. I was blown off and waved away. The clothing section is atrocious. Poorly organized, and it looks like it hasn’t been zoned since the store first opened. Frequently out of baby products I need. I would rather go to babies r us in Pinole. Better selection of products and better organized. Customer service still isn’t that great, but better than what I’ve had here.

I’m glad that they brought back toys r us to vallejo. I’d only been here once since it opened so just basing my review on this one visit. Overall, the store is pretty spacious and well stocked. Was looking for anything in particular but my husand ended up buying a basketball. There wasn’t much costumers the day we were there and there was only one cashier and they were pretty slow but fortunately someone noticed that they line was starting to get long and they ended up opening another line. On an average day it’s a easy trip but on major holidays I’m sure it’s a different story.

Looks clean but poor organization. Twice I’ve picked from a neatly stocked shelf with the price clearly marked on the shelf only to find out that the ring up price is wrong. Of course it is higher than what is noted on the shelf. Refund or adjustment takes forever. Either just one cashier at Customer Service or they hassle you in accepting the wrong price because«It was a mistake». Well, they need to correct the mistake but honor the customer.
