The fried BASA fish is awesome and I have been ordering it repeatedly over the years. The fried chicken is also good, despite the fact that it’s primarily a fish place. We have purchased the snapper, oysters, catfish, sand dabs, hush puppies, and okra at various times and all have been great tasting. The atmosphere is take out only, so I call ahead of time to place an order to go and the service has been very good.

The food is good I’m not going to lie. But these mfkas are rude as fuck, if it’s cheap and good you get a pass but this is good and expensive, at least you can do is smile when I’m giving you my money. We don’t owe y’all a damn thing. You opened up a seafood spot in the hood and making a killing. Be happy, we paid for that remodel. Think about it.

Bookmarked this place a long time ago, and i am so glad that i finally got to try their fried seafood(was in vallejo for a birthday party). I got a pound of scallops, 2 soft shell crabs, and 2 crab cakes. All were delish!!! Price is reasonable. Seafood is fresh! Customer service is great! Minus 1 star for the location… Not the safest neighborhood. If you love fried seafood, then you gotta try this place!

I bought these oysters on 7÷22÷15 for 60 pc for $ 50 almost all the oysters were open or partially open. I want my money back!!! The slip in the two bags of oysters show harvest date of 6÷30÷15 and shipped on 7÷1÷15. No way these oysters are alive. The bag reeked of spoilage. Can’t believe they have the nerve to sell us these dead oysters. If we ate these, definetely everyone would be sick. I will report them to the solano county health dept

Though I highly recommend you avoid this place the first week of the month, the food is still worth the wait. Pricing is very reasonable, food is cooked to order, seasoned well and they have a great selection of items!

HORRIBLE customer service !! I was the first to order out my group of people I came with and I had to wait at least 30 + minutes as I watched everyone I was with receive their food as well as the extra 10 customers that came into the store after my group, mind you the people were in and out. I kept being told my food would be ready in a few minutes. But I feel as if my food was put to the side purposely.

Oh Man, that was amazing and there are a ton of leftovers! I got 2 basa fillet, .5lb white shrimp, corn, okra, and a crab cake for $ 20. I also bought some slap ya mama seasoning which was great on the fried food and corn. The peach cobbler was disappointing, weird taste, some of the peaches had lost their yellow and looked grayish, so steer clear of that. Everything was fried to perfection.

I frequently go to soul trans to purchase my FISHFRYFRIDAYSMEAL… I also purchase my crab for my thanksgiving Gumbo as well as my garlic crab for CHRISTMAS as I’ve done for the last 5 yrs I was extremely disappointed this year when I went for my Christmas 200 $ feast and found that the prices had risen 5 $ in 3 wks since thanksgiving ‼‼‼‼ YES the crab prices exploded by Christmas 12.99 per lb for crab legs this is GOUGING at its best they should be ashamed of these business practices I will no longer do business there at this point VERYDISAPPOINTEDLONGTIME customer… Fish has been a bit squishy lately too not as FRESHASINTHEPAST… things have gotten a bit shady since the NEWRENOVATION

Friendly service Reasonable prices Fresh seafood Excellent flavor You buy they fry! Whatever you want, fish, crab cakes, shrimp, hush puppies, fries, okra, the list goes on. Fish ranges for $ 3.99-$ 6.99 per lb. Sides are only $ 2 per order and it definitely feeds two. Cold sides also $ 2 = coleslaw, potato and macaroni salad. They sell everything you crave for a crawfish boil, oysters and crabs. They’ll even clean them for an additional 50 cents. Friday and Saturdays are busy so call ahead to avoid a 45 minute wait. The only reason I won’t give 5 stars is because they got my order wrong and I got french fries instead of hush puppies!(The french fries were good)

There is nothing better than being able to select what you want and see it before it’s even cooked, pretty good freshness guarantee. IF You’re coming to get something hot and ready : There are lots of options, and I love how you can just literally mix and match like: «hey I want 4 shrimp, 5 prawns, 1 cluster of crab legs, 1 sole fillet and 1 catfish fillet.» The choice is yours. Fry it up… Yes Even the Crab… If you’ve never tried FRIEDCRAB and your a fried food fan, I’d suggest partaking in this delicious union :) Sides are delicious too, the fried okra is my favorite. IF You’re looking for something to take home & hookup: Once again the options are endless and EVERYTHING you could possibly need from seasons to veggies to cookware is available. Great customer service from friendly people, great value, delicious food.

As skeptical as I was after reading reviews and through word of mouth, I had to try this place myself. I didn’t know what to expect out of this place other than that you pick whatever you want and they fry it for you. What could be special about this? This fish market is very small. I’ve found this place to be a convenience store. It was a first for me to find one specifically catering for seafood. It’s just like your local liquor store selling your favorite poison. Same difference! I ordered Basa and Pollock then requested for a fry. Also, I added an order of hush puppies which came with six pieces. The wait took about 8 minutes or so. It was pretty fast. To my surprise it was tasty as hell! Damn this stuff was good. Not only they carry seafood and poultry, but other things like southern spices, mixes, and even toilet paper. Yes toilet paper. I seen a customer buy a large pack of paper which was interesting. It’s a unique business concept. It’s beyond what I’m use to. The parking is terrible though as the lot is very small. On top of that, cars would enter the lot from the wrong direction which makes it difficult to get out at times. If you are lucky, you may find parking on the street as I did.
