La Lumiere European Tanning Salon

Came here because my regular place is never opened and it was the best decision! Gina was so nice and helpful, she explained all the beds (super high quality), prices (very reasonable) and first timer stuff (the door is locked so ring the bell). She recommended which bed I should start with and for how long. After one session I’m hooked im never going anywhere else! The salon is very well stocked, clean and super welcoming and Gina made me feel right at home!

Great service. Wish the weekend hours were a little later. Beds and rooms are always clean.

Needed to get tan for a vacation I am taking next week. I saw this Unilocal page & thought why not? I got the deal & went in the next day. I have never tanned before (bed) but the ladies here were so nice & got me to my desired color in 2 weeks carefully without making me get too red. I gave myself a month in advance to get to the color I wanted & now I’m just coming in to maintain my color but this place is easy nice & clean. My only suggestion is that I wish they did spray tanning (or maybe they do but I haven’t seen any) as well. I’m more of a fan of spray tanning just because it’s not as harmful to our skin but I really like it here!

I’ve been here for numerous spray tans and just started using their beds. They are knowledgeable on all the lotions, types of beds and are super informative about tanning with tattoos. I feel safe knowing you have to be buzzed in before you can tan so no creeps can just come in, so super safe. Love this place

Knowledgable owner and staff regarding tanning times, lotions, and frequency. Helped me get set up with the right package and lotion for my current and desired tan level! I’ve moved away now but I would still recommend. I wish they were closer to downtown but springs isn’t that far I guess! My only tip is general to tanning salons: try a few different sample size lotions and then buy the one you like online– you’ll save a ton!

I’m so confused how this salon has so many good reviews. I worked at a high end salon and recently quit, so I figured I’d check this place out because it’s close. I pulled up and they said open, but when I pulled on the door it was locked. It was 30 minutes after they were supposed to be open so I waited to see if anyone would show up. A girl went in a few minutes later, apparently you have to use a BUZZER to get in! The girl was sitting a few feet away and didn’t even «buzz me in.» So I go in, and I told her I hadn’t been there before thinking she’d get up and show me around. Nope she hands me a price list! She tells me they have «super beds» and blablabla their super bed is a regular 20 minute bed but wait it gets better … They have THIRTY minute beds!!! What the heck? I’ve never in my life heard of a thirty minute bed. The beds are very old and the place is tacky! I had to show myself around and wasn’t impressed. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone. Definitely won’t see color quickly at this place, the beds are old and out of date.

I’m only giving it 2 stars because it’s cheap, if not it’d be 1. Twice I’ve driven all the way across town to tan, during their posted business hours, and sat in my car waiting and nobody shows. Today it is posted that they open at 10am, I get there at 10:45, wait 25 min, STILL NO ONE SHOWS.
Also the beds are tiny, maybe I was spoiled by Club Tan in Napa, but it feels like I’m in a coffin or something. Very cramped.
I guess you get what you pay for!
