I hate doing this, but I have recently been trying to get some keys made. I came by and a polite lady there said he was «out» somewhere else. OK, that happens. I called back. 3 times! Never there. Never answered my message.
I can only conclude he is not interested in my business. I know that people burn out, etc. but this is a service and if they decide they don’t want to do it anymore, close the doors. Don’t leave your long time customers floundering. FWIW I found another shop in town that took care of me. with excellent customer service.

Check your keys before you leave!
I had a duplicate ignition key made for my Toyota at Hall’s and when I needed it (three months later) it didn’t work to start the car.
I called Hall’s who told me it was «my fault» for not checking to see if the key worked before I left their store.
Very bad — and costly $ 90.00 mistake. Seems to me that Hall’s could have at least offered a discount on a key that actually works.

My mailbox keys were missing and I took the mailbox there today, Chris fixed the problem by first trying to make a key and then replacing with a new lock, the final charge was much less than I was expecting. Great service!
