Food is ok, but I am really disappointed by their service. Ordered takeout and if you order more than 1 entrée, they give the rice in 1 container and expect you to split it yourself. Very annoying when you’re splitting with different people. I even called ahead to make sure the rice would be in separate containers and they assured me that would be the case, then went back on it. Would not trust them again.

Just so-so. Decent samosas, but my dish(gobi aloo) was all tomato and little flavor.

The take out options are limited, but as far as Indian food goes it is alright.

Everything was perfect. My next trip to New York will definitely include a visit to Mughal Palace.

The owner and his staff are very warm, welcoming people. They make you feel right at home! The dining room is very cozy, just the right size. The food has such amazing flavor! If you like eggplant, I recommend baingan burtha. It has a smoky, savory taste. Saag paneer is another favorite.

Delicious, indian food. They have the staples such as sag paneer, garlic nan, chicken tika masala, lamb vindaloo, but they offer many other authentic vegatarian and meat containing dishes. Thought it was interesting that they had beef dishes on the menu, however they may not be of the Hindu faith. Sizes of the dishes were quite large so it was great for sharing. Menu descriptions were quite accurate compared to actual food. Was really nice that they delivered to White Plains from Valhalla within 30 min and they even threw in a free desert and a couple of mango lasi’s. Would order from them again.

Way over priced! The rice wasn’t that good and the service was terrible. It is about double what you would normally pay. Never again.

Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in lower Westchester! Clean and intimate décor, courteous and pleasant staff, and excellent food. Great and inexpensive lunch buffets on weekends. Prices are otherwise a bit on the expensive side, but the good-sized portions and excellent quality can often make a great second meal out of the delicious leftovers. Also, note that they often can deliver nearby(no additional fee), if they have a driver available. A great choice whether looking for a nice, quiet, romantic dinner; a small group; or takeout/delivery. Free on-street parking is usually not a problem.

I haven’t had much experiences trying out Indian food up here in Westchester but I thought Mughal Palace was only average at best. I’ve gotten couple dishes to go as friends living nearby was having a get together. For the price of the entrees I was expecting bit more portions to be honest, even though they were very generous with the sauce I feel the meat could certainly be more. For the sauce they also taste bit more runny and not as creamy as some of the other really good Indian places I’ve been to in city or Jersey. The naan was decent but I guess because we didn’t eat it right there definitely didn’t taste the same. The rice portion was quite generous however, I think was enough to share for 3 – 4 people for sure. However it does seem they have a pretty good buffet deal if you’re able to make it here during weekdays. Its located right across Valhalla train station so very convenient for the people commuting to city for work. The people at the restaurant were very friendly as well and certainly felt very welcoming. I think I would have to reserve another experience for perhaps a lunch buffet to try out more of their food to see if it was just a bad experience.

I’ve moved away from Westchester, but I come here every time I’m back to visit. The service is great and the food is delicious(especially the fish tikka and Peshwari naan).

Our favorite lunch gathering when there is more than 6 of us. The buffet style is perfect for a work meal but also excellent whenever else because it us so hard to choose between all the excellent choices. Desert is great don’t skip it.

Loved the food! Simple as that. I’ll be back. I’ve been back with my friends. I’m not an expert on Indian food but everything was delicious. We all loved it. The employees are helpful and friendly. I suggest Mughal Palace. You won’t be appointed.

Great buffet, good service, decent prices. Try everything. Weekend as well as weekday buffets, but watch out: Saturday’s buffet is a bit pricier and Sunday’s buffet is the most expensive.

The buffet lunch is awesome. Always switching it up and not buffet tasting. The dessert during the lunch buffet is the same two but they are great. I read the reviews about the service staff and I have never experienced them ever being rude and rushing you.

I thought this place was pretty good, especially for the price. Went for the lunch buffet and I got 5 plates worth of food(I think the staff was a little annoyed at me, but hey, when it’s all-you-can-eat then I’m going to make it count). I pretty much stuck to my staple foods: tandoori chicken, rice, garlic naan, and tikka masala. Tried a couple of other things here and there, and I really wasn’t disappointed in anything. Not bad, not bad at all.

From the moment we entered I knew this was Not the experience I was looking for. Met at door by a surly waiter saying the placed closed at 3 so better eat fast. The time. 2:10. Had buffet which was mixed with good food and some shockingly bad. While some were spiced well, others were so dry they were inedible. The waiter never returned to our table so we just drank water with our meal. Around 2:50, with several tables still occupied, the front door was latched opened by the manager, which allowed the wicked cold to enter. Patrons immediately stood, quickly donning coats, and exited the restaurant. The level of poor and rude service is appalling. Unfortunately had to give one star to leave this review. Unilocal needs to include negative stars

GNO couldn’t have abeen better. Lovely round table by the window so the conversation could flow. easily and it did. House wine selections were good and diverse as our palates required. Appetizer of samosas and crispy eggplant were both savory and plentiful for four to share. Ordered a lamb dish, chicken tiki something, shrimp with cashews in a coconut sauce and dahlia. All shared with accompaning rice. Onion non was deletable. Attentive, friendly service from wait staff and manager or owner. Being too full to order dessert they kindly delivered coconuat and mango ice cream with four spoons with the bill. A sweet taste to end the meal. We will be back! Best Indian Food around!

I work in nearby White Plains, and I came to Mughal Palace on a recommendation from a fellow Indian food lover. I have only ever come for lunch, but that has been a dozens times, as this place is excellent for lunch and perhaps even business lunches as well. Their lunch special is a buffet-style offering for about $ 13 which allows you unlimited dishes of chicken tikka masala, several types of paneer, garlic naan, and other types of scrumptious, quick Indian food. I particularly love their chilled rice pudding with tons of vanilla flavor and golden raisins. The wait staff is also friendly and courteous. All in all, an amazing experience, especially for lunch.

The lunch buffet is tops! The food on their buffet is restaurant quality, not typical buffet quality, But don’t get me wrong, there is so much greatness on their dinner menu you will not be disappointed!(Unless there is something not right in your head). Even my friend Peanut who doesn’t like Indian food enjoyed it a lot ! Also the carrot portage dessert(and even the beer one) are two of the most amazing foods I’ve ever had from India!!! The notion that«Indian food is all spicy» is just like the statement«who ever said that is a genius». I CALL B^LLSH*T!!!
