I stopped in this place for lunch, and was pleasantly supprised! I loved the menu, I am vegan, and they had Tofu!!! I had a Rice bowl with veggies and Tofu(my choice of protein). It’s very simple to order, just pick your protein, your rice, brown or white, and your marinade, served with salad and veggies. Was so fresh and delicious! I will definitely come here again! :)

The Rustic Eatery is my FAVORITE sandwich place to go in the Santa Clarita Valley! The bread for the sandwiches are unbelievable! The bread taste so fresh! The chef/owner is super cool! The Ribeye(Shabu cut) sandwich with all 3 marinades is the best sandwich in Santa Clarita, probably in LA!!! Great place, reasonable prices, and cool place… how can you not like it!?! HIGHLYRECOMMEND!

This is my favorite lunch spot. I come here all the time. Very quick and healthy. Lunch can be very crowded. So I use their online order system and I don’t have to be in line. Staff is very friendly and helpful too. Their rib eye shabu cut and salmon are the bombs!

I have been to this place before and it was good but after today I can NEVER eat there again. There was a dead spider in my food and I sure as hell didn’t order that shit. The spider did not crawl into my bowl. I know because it was cooked. Going to talk to a lawyer!

Stopped for dinner with friends on a Wednesday evening.(It’s located in a retail center near Starbucks and a nail salon.) We had a variety of meals, and all 7 of us were more than pleased! We were able to sit outside with our dog, too. Excellent quality ingredients, reasonable portion sizes, fast pleasant service, and casual atmosphere earn my five stars! Prices vary from $ 8 – 15, depending on protein selection and preparation. Will be returning on our next visit to the area. Also, recommending to friends that drive interstate 5 regularly.

Had one of the BEST sandwiches ever, here today, and it was all by chance. I was driving back to the Bay Area with my daughter from UCSD and it was time for a break, so we pulled off at the Magic Mountain exit off I5 and literally stumbled on to the Rustic Eatery and we were pleasantly surprised at the GREAT food they serve; along with the happy, excellent service, combined with reasonable prices for an abundance of QUALITY!!! I had the spicy tri-tip sandwich and it was AWESOME, such great flavor; she’s had the fried tofu sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed her’s too, and we both had it with the fresh and tasteful mixed salad. Now that we know where to find it, we look forward to coming back in again, so many MORE items to try off of their yummy menu!!!

Food is amazing! The workers there are extremely sweet and kind. I wish there were more seats because around lunch time it does get pretty crowded but the food is definitely worth it. I’ve came here more than 3 times and always loving the food. I’ve only tried the sandwich so far. Their Yakiniku sauce is really good and sweet.

Finally came and boy was I surprised! The food was super fresh! I took a risk and did pork belly with a salad and it went surprisingly well. Their house lemon vinaigrette is absolutely perfect! I am excited to try even more of their selections soon :)

Good food but a bit overpriced. I ordered a rice bowl for take out, which came with steamed veggies and slices of prime cut rib eye as my choice of protein… And it came out to a little over $ 15.

This place is still too notch, service is excellent and my new favorite is getting the rice bowl with no rice, extra veggies, grilled shrimp with yakiniku seasoning with avocado. Get in my tummy. The cookies here are a must for the road. Get two, you won’t want to share. The rustic bread is to die for. I’m watching carbs, but indulge every now and then.

Had a brown rice bowl with spicy chicken and vegetables. Food was tasty and cooked well. I like the healthy choices. I would come back here again. It’s decently priced. Brightly lit dining area.

My hubby found this place while waiting for me, and I am so glad he did. We’ve had the pork belly and chicken plates, and they were both good. My hubby has came here a few more times by himself. Everything they pile on the plate were delicious. The salad was a good mix of veggies with a nice, light dressing. The bread was good, too. If you want to treat yourself to good food without feeling guilty, try them out and you won’t regret it.

I like this place a lot. We stopped here on the way home from a trip. It’s pretty close to the freeway off of Magic Mountain. You pick your style(plate, salad, rice bowl) then your protein and your sauce. For some reason no prices were listed anywhere on the board. The lady said that the prime cut beef and the shabu cut beef were different prices but I don’t know what they were. Also, the sauce choices listed are naked(sea salt and pepper), spicy, or sweet soy. But then she asked my husband, when he said«naked,» if he wanted any sauce on the side, including teriyaki, which isn’t listed. So he got teriyaki for his rice bowl. I got brown rice with shabu cut(thin cut) beef and vegetables, which are listed as oven roasted– here oven roasted is lightly roasted, not super dark the way one usually roasts veggies. I liked the brown rice a lot– it had a bit of sweetness to it, reminding me of sushi rice(maybe they put in some rice vinegar or maybe it’s my imagination?) and I liked the sweet soy sauce as well. Our two bowls came to a total of $ 22 and some change. They also sell beer and wine here.

For a very simple dish, it is made with perfection. The cashier is very energetic and helpful, not to mention gorgeous. I ordered the rice bowl with fried tofu and she suggested both the spicy and yakiniku sauce on the side because they are both good. This place is like an Asian Chipotle. I don’t get out to this area much, but it is definitely peaceful and the people seem friendlier.

Solid choice for a quick and healthy lunch. Pick your meat, your marinade, and how you’d like it served(sandwich, bowl, salad). I went with my co-workers and we all agreed it wasn’t overly good and not bad either– just average. With the close proximity to our office we will most likely return, but not because we are excited to eat here. I felt my shrimp bowl could’ve used more protein and more veggies; it was a bit of rice overload. Prices were slightly high for what you get and not advertised on the main hanging menu(you have to check the paper ones). We discovered parts of our order missing when we got back to the office so double check your order before you leave! On a side note: why is it called Rustic Eatery? There’s nothing rustic about it! Little things like that bug me but it’s not really a big deal. Just wanted to put it out there.

Came here for lunch as was in the area and found the place packed. After eating my lunch can see why. Oh so good shrimp bowl with sweet and spicy sauce and brown rice with veggies. Washed it down with their own tropical iced tea and left full and happy :). Worth going to if your in the area.

So I knew that the SCV was a good spot for shopping, I mean come on! Malls, shopping centers, car dealerships. Add to that, Six Flags. But I would have never EVER guessed that it would have some culinary gems hidden within its suburban sprawl and the chain restaurants. Oh man, this place was the (circa 2000s). I ordered the tri tip plate with the spicy sauce. It was a beauty journey on a plate. Salad, rice, tri tip, veggies, roasted corn and bread. Every single bite took me closer to food nirvana. Add to that a side of french fries and it was amazing. I am so impressed that I am going to add a picture. Do yourself a favor, get here and enjoy every moment.

Finding foodies that aren’t all fried and 70% fat & sodium within a mile of a major theme park is no easy feat… unless you’re in Valencia and in the area of Six Flags Magic Mountain. This was our first stop after departing from the amusement park and our last stop before a 6-hour drive back up north to San Francisco and it was probably the best thing we could have downed given our draining day running around the park in 90-degree heat with minimal water and zero other food We were exhausted but elated to find a place so highly rated on Unilocal just a 4-minute drive from the park. It’s not at all rustic inside, more simple and to the point, with a pretty easy to decipher build-your-own menu with options of rice bowl, salad, sandwich, or plate with your choice of protein, clean eating veggies, and a light marinade. They also serve some nominally priced and pretty prime craft beer bottles, though we stuck to water and iced tea. My roommate and I got different but similar variations on the rice bowl, both of choosing brown rice and tofu as our protein, mine grilled tofu with the spicy red chile marinade and he chose the fried tofu(not greasy at all) with the naked marinade(Hawaiian pink sea salt & black pepper). The bowls are beyond generous– def enough and then some for even the hungriest of hungries. The staff were helpful, eager to accommodate, and super friendly throughout our experience. You order at the counter and it really didn’t take all that long for our order(which we also added a side of fries to because I need fries for life). Help yourself to the beverage counter once you snag a cup. Our bowls were pretty massive and super fulfilling and gave us a smooth burst of energy to stay awake, alert, and alive for the next 6.5 hours on the road. 100% would come here again, even though Six Flags Magic Mountain is on my sh*t list… but more about that later.
