So thankful I found Adrienne. I had been going to a chain salon and never got the personal touch or expertise that Adrienne offers. She knows her color and it’s evident in her work. Best of all she is in a beautiful and private space that allowed me to feel like I was getting VIP treatment. She didn’t rush and took the time to explain every step of the process to me. I’m finally the blonde I always wanted to be!
Side note: I thought I was saving money going to a chain salon. I was wrong — you aren’t saving a penny if you walk out disappointed.

I’ve found the best hair dresser ever!!! Adrian did what other hair dressers said couldn’t be done. I had a badly tangled area in my hair, visited 3 salons that were referred to as the best. Unfortunately I was told by all 3 that the only thing they could do is cut it out, the tangles couldn’t be brushed out. After 2 months of putting my hair up in a bun and searching for a miracle worker, I found Mizz Hollywood Hair, Adrian, on Unilocal.I loved the reviews regarding what a fantastic hair stylist she was, made an appointment and kept my fingers crossed for the best. Well, to my surprise Adrian was able to comb/​brush out the tangles and save my hair. Not only did she save the knotted area of hair, by brushing it out, she cut and styled it. My hair looks fuller and healthier then it has in many years and it still has length. I love, love, love my hair style/​look. I was also pleased with the price. I’m one very happy lady, thanks to Adrian.

Best place I’ve ever been to. Where do I begin … Amazing job ! Great prices! And goes out of her way to accommodate you on your schedule. Not only is she amazing and knows exactly how to do her job but she is fast. I had the best experience with my extensions, everywhere I went before here tried to change my hair color and couldn’t work with me. Mizz Hollywood matched me perfectly, no one can tell I have extensions. She did them fast and perfect. Will never go anywhere else. Very happy with her.

Wow. Called to make an appointment and was blamed because she lost her connection with AT&T to take my call on her day off. I suggest working in customer service skills as you just lost a potentially new client. Sorry to have bothered you. Geez.

I found Adrienne after trying to find someone that carried Kevin Murphy products. We are new to SCV and I was going to another «five star» salon at the time. They balayaged and completely damaged my hair and cut it unevenly. She first did my daughters’ hair and did an amazing, thorough job. They both have curly hair that needs layers put in well. I booked an appointment with her and she has completely color corrected my hair back to the Florida blonde I was accustomed to. Also, it lasts longer than I’ve ever experienced and my hair is back to being healthy. I’m so happy to have found someone who does a wonderful job!

I would definitely recommend Adrienne! Love her! Went to her tonight as a first time client for a haircut. I showed her picture of how I wanted my hair she totally hit it right on! So extremely relaxing to be in her chair. Sometimes I get really nervous and anxious sitting in the chair letting someone new do my hair. But with Adrienne I didn’t feel that way one tiny bit. When you move around as much as we do it’s scary to go from stylist to stylist. But Adrianne knows her stuff. She has 30years experience in the hair styling field and is amazing. I booked an appointment with her through the Unilocal app. Which is very convenient and she texted me directions before my appointment. I have curly hair and she knew exactly how it should be cut and matched the color of my hair perfectly as I needed my roots touched up. Adrianne was very friendly and when I left her salon I knew I would have a friend for life. She even had time to cut my husbands hair also and did a wonderful job. I recommend her highly. You will not be disappointed. I also needed my eyebrows waxed and she got me an appointment with Shelly in the same building for that. Thank you both so much. Shelly had left for the day but was in the area and came back just to do my brows. I just can’t say enough good things about this experience.

I am so glad that the reviews posted about Adrienne are so true. I have been searching for a hairstylist for months as my previous experiences had been a disaster, I found Adrienne thru Unilocal,I went with the reviews posted, took a chance and when I showed up for my appointment I was amazed by her personality. She adds warmth and a personal touch to her client but at the same time she is such a professional and she knows her job damn too well.

I just want to write an update because I’m so thankful for Adrienne and I’m still so amazed by what she does! I’ve been going to her for almost 2.5 years so far and my hair has never been better — to quote one of my oldest and dearest friends, «I’ve known you for over 20 years and your hair has never looked this good — I see what she does!» Ha! :) I’ve never had even one bad hair day since she first worked her magic, and that’s huge for me. That was never the case before Adrienne, as my hair had a mind of its own most days… for most of my life. And nobody before Adrienne ever knew what to do with it, either, so they would insist that I had to flat-​iron it every day — and I did that for a couple of years, but I didn’t want to. I prefer to wear my curly hair *curly*. :)
I don’t know how Adrienne does it, but I don’t have to do much of anything with my hair — her cut does all the work and within a couple of minutes my hair looks exactly the way that I want it to look, consistently, every single day. I love it! Her work is so amazing that it still looks great even when I take a little longer to get it trimmed than I’d planned — she cuts my curly hair in such a way that it looks lovely as it grows, the layers are always exactly as they should be, I never have «dog ears» or any of the issues that you usually get with curly hair, etc. Seriously, she works magic. She’s the very best not only for my thick, curly hair, but for every hair type that I’ve seen (lots of my friends and family go to her as well)! She does beautiful highlights, too! I have recommended her often to my friends, who now love Adrienne as much as I do. I even take my little girls to her and not only is she so welcoming and kind to them, but she does beautiful work on their long hair!
I’ll never willingly let anyone but Adrienne touch my hair. It took me years of terrible hair cuts to find her, and I’m incredibly thankful for what she does. It’s a little bit of a drive for me, and she’s more than worth it! Also, she’s so sweet and she’s a lot of fun, so visits with her are a treat. :)
And the fact that she offers online booking — that rocks!

Not recommended if you have thick curly hair. I asked for long layers and the stylist was confident she could cut my hair. I ended up with basically two layers (will try to post pic). Though Adrienne said I could come back for touching up if I didn’t like it She was not responsive to my text or voicemail. Guess I’m headed back to Palmdale to Diclemente Salon. The owner George is extremely experienced, cuts my hair according to my lifestyle and I always come away looking amazing with a cut that last beautifully and grows out fantastically.

She did just that and I have been a loyal customer ever since. She is fun and makes you feel right at home when you visit her beautiful studio. I love Adrienne. Scheduling an appointment with her online is a breeze. When you’re with her you know her attention is on you, not on her next appointment or getting through the day! I am constantly complimented on my hair by my coworkers which doesn’t get old. We did a dye and full highlights. She gives great tips on how to extend the life of your color. She made my hair look natural, just as I requested. And as someone who loves her long hair, she only ever cuts off enough to make it healthy so I don’t freak out. (My fellow long hair people know what I’m talking about). You won’t regret going to her.

I’ve lived in the US for 12 years, and never found anyone who can truly follow my request as to how I like my hair, until today!
First of all, my hair type: Asian hair, thick, full, long (down almost to my waist)
I told her what my past experiences has been, and that I did a lot of research and decided to take a chance on her. She carefully examined my hair as I was telling her all of this, and she pointed out what exactly was done to my hair that made it look the way it has, and made perfect sense. She took my hair little bits at a time, took time looking at it and recommended me what would look best AFTER what I mentioned as how I would like it. It’s either our brain connected or she’s just awesome… I’m going to go with «she’s awesome». The layer came out EXACTLY the way I’ve been wanting for the last several years!!! I told her «no more than 1in off the bottom», and that was exactly what she did. The top layer was just as I wanted, if not better than how I wanted, and the finished product… well, I’m MORE than HAPPY!!!
In the past 12 years, no amount of pictures or words helped any stylist to handle my Asian hair, and a lot of it, but Adrienne got it right from the start!
By the way she was sharing tips and giving me guidance as to how hair works… I got the idea that she’s truly and honestly passionate about hair. She doesn’t take it lightly, and certainly won’t take you lightly. I spent little less than hour and a half (for my long length hair cut/​shampoo/​blowdry) and she treats your hair like nothing else is important. In a cute little studio with just you and her, it’s very nice to have some level of «hair relationship» going, as opposed to typical salon chit chats and loud conversations going. Oh, and her studio smelled like a cupcake… for some reason.
Overall, I drove an hour to get to her, spent about hour and a half with her, spent about double what I used to pay for haircut, and I’VE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER!!! Absolutely LOVE the service I got, and the haircut that looks amazing, what more can I ask?
Seriously, Asian hair or not, Adrienne will give you the best hair experience ever!

Mizz Hollywood is amazing!!! From the moment you walk into her salon, you know you are in for a treat! When you step into her glamorous old Hollywood themed space you feel like a star! Plus, you will end up leaving feeling like a star as well because of how beautiful your hair looks!

Adrienne cut my long, thick but boring hair 6 months ago and brought back my fabulousity! I had so many compliments on my hair! Her experience and talent is remarkable because she did it again today!
