Took my little to get Mexican. She ordered carne asada loaded nachos. When they switched out the Carne Asada, the girl rested the OLD and NASTY container right on my little’s nachos!!! There’s a clear glass partion. Everyone saw it. The bottom of that container was in nasty water and they had the nerve to give it to us as it nothing happened at at. Even the girl making quesadillas saw her violate the nachos. Yet, they all acted like nothing wrong happened… Uh…Health and Food Safety Violation!!! Only 1 star because we finally were able to convince them to make new nachos after we refused to take the other ones. Total appetite killer!!!

The signage outside lured us in thinking it was a giant food court. It’s only like 3 food booths and 1 ice cream booth –_– I ended up standing in line at the taco/Mexican booth and apparently the workers behind the counter just calls anyone next in line. It seemed more like a free for all because all the workers were just everywhere. I ordered the Taco Combo with Chili Lime Chicken on one taco and Carne Asada on the other. They literally just threw on a scoop of each onto a flour tortilla and that was it! The menu said it comes with beans, but I got no such thing. DONOT order the Chicken! No matter how much salsa I put on it, it was STILL super dry. About $ 12 for 2 tacos and chips? Not worth it. The seating area is also kind of outdated and run down. It was a little on the dirty side too. I know amusement parks food courts/concession areas aren’t the greatest, but this one was pretty disappointing.

After riding Goliath — and after a two-hour wait in line to do so — both my girlfriend and I were famished and needed to cool off. When we saw that Food Etc. was nearby and had air-conditioning, we decided to go there for lunch. Well… I have never seen so much ineffieciency in a food court line at an amusement park before in my life. Apparently, the section of the food court we were in is one of the most popular; given how they were serving loaded nachos and various tacos, who can blame them? But, one would think that with the number of people in line, more resources would be placed in that section. Instead, we heard complaints from people behind us saying, «It shouldn’t take this long to get nachos and tacos!» Let me put it this way, it took 15 minutes just to get our orders filled. The food: I had ordered the loaded carne asada nachos(tri-colored tortilla chips, beans, jalapenos, sour cream, salsa, and nacho cheese), and Kathy ordered their 2 chicken taco combo(which included chips and beans). It was filling, but honestly, I’ve had better — especially as I didn’t get too much carne asada in my order. The steam tray was close to empty when I finally approached, but rather than the counter staff offering me to wait for a fresh batch, they dumped what was pitifully left into my order.(And regarding the counter staff… most of them can sure use some customer service training. Maybe Six Flags should put some of their revenue into that instead of building new rides.) At least the staff at the sushi kiosk were a lot more helpful when we went there for our drink refills, and after seeing the portion size in relation to the price, maybe we should’ve gone there instead(10 pcs for $ 10.95… the same price we paid for our orders). Oh, and good luck finding seating!
