It’s been extremely difficult for me to write this review as all the other reviews I have given to vendors for my wedding back in September have been great. Unfortunately my experience with this wedding coordinator was not a good experience. To be honest I hired her because the planner I had originally hired had a death in the family and could no longer work with me. I then I hired Carmen because I had a smaller budget to allocate for a wedding coordinator. In our first meeting she sounded like she knew what she was talking about but boy was I wrong! I wouldn’t say planner as I planned my entire wedding. Yet I heard her introduce herself as my wedding planner,(taking credit for the wedding I planned for a year). She ensured me she would not need any assistants«day of» when we first spoke and in our final meeting she said she needed help. I literally had 5 – 8 family members help day of and even the cater and her team helped. This was not their job especially not my family. I hired her to do a job and instead she was bossing people around and she didn’t treat them with respect. I am paying you, the least you can do is be kind to people that are helping you do your job! It really bothered me that my mom was running around the entire reception making sure everything was running smoothly while the«coordinator» was taking pictures at the photo booth, the nerve! My mom didn’t even have time to do that. Anyways I will stop here and say this, save your money and just have your family help if money is tight or hire a real professional. If not you will be highly disappointed. You have been warned.
