First off Fuji is a buffet so there will be times when it is hit or miss. This is common with buffets. That being said it is typically more hit than miss. Their chicken on a stick is always excellent and we recently had seafood egg rolls that were amazing. Their sushi is generally good although not as fresh as Royal but it’s also not made to order. The service has always been wonderful for us which we like. This tends to be the cheapest Chinese buffet in town so we do go often and feel we get our money’s worth. I feel that people who don’t like Fuji are usually people who don’t like buffets in general. If you don’t like buffets stay away, but if you do then try it out. Sadly they are no longer open on Mondays so keep that in mind.

This place ended up being a huge disappointment. When they first opened, their yumminess was of epic proportions. Now… my heart hangs low like the tail of a sad donkey. We went in there for dinner at around 7pm. They didn’t have the upgraded dinner menu up like most Chinese buffets do after 5pm. I just figured they may only do that on weekends now. The menu items were all dry, like they’d been sitting there since lunch. The choices were very bland and minimal. The sushi looked like they just made up whatever popped into there head and wrapped it into a role. Then, when we got our bill I was like, «Holy twisted metal, Batman!» We were charge way too much for the crappy food they had up. Usually Chinese buffets have crab legs, steak and other premium goodness for the later menu so they can charge more. Not these guys. I say, «boo,» to you, Fugi. I’ll stick with Royal Buffet.
