Affordable, close to all the slopes, clean rooms with fridge, microwave. Sauna, steam room, game room, pool table. Lightning-​fast Wi-​Fi. Regular shuttles going out every half hour to the slopes and to restaurants. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. I wanted to shower and use the sauna before my flight, after I’ve already checked out and gone skiing on my last day and the guy at the front desk let me do that.

We planned to go to Vail for the weekend (Triple Bypass Bike Event) and made reservations at this condo when it came up on Priceline. Our plans changed but they wouldn’t offer a refund when I called, so we were forced to go anyway so we didn’t lose all the money they charged in full the day we made the reservations. Nice accommodations, we stayed in a hotel style room with no kitchen. We were located on the third floor and faced the creek. We had a beautiful view of the creek and left our window open to listen to the water. Nice amenities with two hot tubs and both an indoor and outdoor pool. Staff were friendly on check in and the calendar (if staying a full week) was full of activities. The downsides were no coffee provided, which we found puzzling because we had a coffee maker, two coffee cups, a microwave, and a mini fridge in our room. Bring your own coffee if you need it every morning. Our key cards never worked on the building door so we always had to walk through the lobby to get to our building. The bar soap in the shower left a weird feeling on my skin and strange smell. Not enough pillows on the bed. They only provide three on the king size bed and they were too soft. Uncomfortable sleeping. When we were leaving, there was a young teenager cleaning the lobby and he didn’t leave a sign up that he had mopped the floors. I would have slipped if my husband had not pointed it out. Major downside was you can’t bring any equipment into your room (skis, snowboard, bike, etc). This is not good when you bring expensive equipment. We’re not about to leave our bikes in the parking lot on the car. Nice location and condo, not sure if we would stay again.

Somebody wanna tell management here that you are NOT slope side in lionshead or vail village? Place has stupid rules. No skies in unit? WTF? YOU are a ski place morons! Shuttle bus leaves with or without people exactly on time but never stops at 2 stops to wait for people until their scheduled departure time at theses places? Wife and I discussed during week how this place ever got a rci gold crown rating? Limited respect for this rating now. Units are dated. Had some good amenities (2 jacuzzis, shuttle bus, etc) but they seemed to purposely add small amenities only to get higher rci rating. The majority of people who are dumb and don’t use the amenities anyways don’t realize that this is how rci gives out gold crowns. Lesser rated places are much more convenient to ALL OTHER amenities such as restaurants, ski slopes, and snotty guests (other guests were friendly but cant say thesame about management). Not sure if ever come back here but unit was big… so maybe and hence 3 stars… NO GOLD crown from me.
