I have no idea why this place has bad reviews but I had an incredible experience! I had one of the best deep tissue massages and would highly recommend this place.

Don’t know if I would call this a spa. It’s located in a hallway in the basement of the hotel, and uses the hotel pool’s locker room facilities as part of their«spa» for getting ready for your treatments. No privacy in the restroom/dressing room/locker room due to its public hotel access. The relaxation room is a nice idea, but awkward to share w/other clients waiting for their treatments. The appointment girl was short and brass and not very helpful when setting up an appointment, but was cheery and talkative when I came in for my massage. I received a 50min prenatal massage from Carla, who was great. She was very friendly and accommodating. I was disappointed by the lack-luster massage room though. It was NOT spa like or even decorated. There appeared to be water damage stains on the base of the walls as well as nasty stained carpet. The room smelled of hot wax, which may be a service they provide, but was not relaxing. And Carla lit a candle to try to add a relaxing aroma to the experience. They are WAY overpriced at $ 130 for a basic 50min massage. Maybe the price would be worth it if you didn’t receive your massage in a room that looks and feels like a dingy basement closet. Again, Carla was great at her job. She worked out a couple of knots that I had in my back, and she used an appropriate amount of pressure, not too hard not to light.

This is definitely a pros and cons place. Pros: — excellent masseuses. Might have been the best massage my wife and I got(did a couples Swedish). Ask for Shelley. She’s awesome. Cons: — everything else. The dilapidated basement of the marriott the spa is in. The non-soundproof massage room, off a busy hallway(the combination of squeaky cart going down the hallway and massage music in the room is definitely an interesting one). The steam room in the locker room that was kept off. The nasty pool. So — if all you care about is the massage, then 5 stars. If the whole experience matters, then here we are.

I had the best massage of my life by Shelly and I only signed up for the signature massage. I was in heaven and felt completely relaxed. Normally, I have a problem getting off the table and moving due to lower back issues, but I had no problems whatsoever.

First off, I didn’t see the term«day spa» in any of their literature. I looked online and decided to book a facial — massage combo. Guess what? They do facials on Wednesdays. really? I mean, are you in this business or not. Second, this is a convention hotel and most meetings go 9 — 5. Those are their hours. Seriously? Again, what business are you in? I did manage to get a 4 pm massage and Kelsey was terrific. I’d highly recommend her but feel badly that she and the other techs could have a lot more business if the place had decent hours.
