Wickens Construction

I am so disappointed in Wickens Construction. This was the second time using them. The first time they were wonderful. This time they blew me off. I have called and emailed numerous times and got no response. I asked for an estimate on painting the exterior of our house. It took a week to get a response to all my calls. Someone came out took a few pictures and said the would call me the following week. I still haven’t heard from anyone.

We wanted a new awning to replace an old style awning that was existing when we purchased our .home. We had estimates from three different companies and selected Wickens Construction based on other reviews and that they were a local company… we are very glad we did! Our awning looks great – it was installed within three weeks of the original estimate – Alan was a pleasure to deal with for the estimate/​contract/​oversight of project; the crew, Juan and Sam, were professional and highly skilled. Prior to concluding the install, they asked if there was anything else they could do, if we had any concerns, etc. and left the construction area clean. We will recommend Wickens Construction to our friends and family – GREAT JOB!

Had two skylights installed in my master bedroom. They did an outstanding job! It came out exactly the way I wanted! Very professional, skilled and personable. I have a newer mobile home and they knew exactly what they were doing. I would highly recommend them.

Bruce and his crew are incredible, timely and have done excellent work for myself, both of my parents and countless friends and referrals. You couldn’t ask for a better, more professional, courteous (and jovial) person than Bruce Wickens to lead his team from an excellent design concept to perfect and precise completion. Exceeded our expectations every time! A local construction gem! Highly recommend!

My wife and I wanted a patio cover to shield us from the relentless Vacaville sun. We had some recommendations to go with Wickens Construction. Allen came out and measured our patio out and explained the options we have. We chose what we wanted, he went outside to his truck for a few minutes and had a quote ready for us. He said it was a three week manufacture time which was right on the nose. They installed three weeks and two days after we had our quote.
The crew that came out was amazing. They explained everything to me and had me approve where everything would be to ensure that I would be happy.
We even pulled an 11^th hour change on Allen and asked for a permit from the city day of installation and he was right on it no questions asked. Our awning is amazing, looks great we couldn’t be happier!

They obtained a city permit for me, and had my patio cover up in a few hours. The product looks elegant and really makes a back yard look incredible. If you want a fan or lighting, you have to purchase it on your own, but they will install it for you. I have jealous neighbors all around me!
