This library is pretty decent, located in downtown Vacaville and snuggled between a park, restaurant and small shops like a clothing boutique. It seems small to me but I didn’t get enough time to explore the whole library yet. I love the bronze statues out front and the structure is very clean cut and welcoming, inside is also bright and airy and since its been open for a bit, a tad dusty and has a musty smell to it. The employees there are friendly enough but some I think sometimes prefer not to interact and avoid eye contact, lol. Only bad side to this library like I said at the beginning is that it is nestled within so many other things that parking is horrendous. The spots all seem like compact spots and since people are always coming and going, some have no common sense about backing up or giving people enough room to exit. Good thing my car is small! My friend I went and she got stuck around 2 other large cars who apparently had no idea how to get around each other. Lol fun stuff.

This is a a small library, but it always has activities. It is usually open until 5pm so a lot of their activities happen during the daytime, so keep on the lookout for flyers. I mainly attend this library to conduct tutoring and I’ll have books transferred to this location for pick up while since I tutor there. I understand that the library is a quiet place, but since the location is smaller the noise level is nonexistent. The Cultural Center library is a little nosier, but it’s a larger library and you can find quiet spots the further back you go. I don’t really like the feeling of being watched or heard and being told to lower my voice when I’m not even talking above a whisper. The study rooms have paper thin walls, and sometimes you’ll hear the conversations, but no biggie. I do prefer the cultural center because it feels more inviting, but the people at Town Square are community oriented with their daytime events.

Hey, I’m here right now writing the review! LOL Without internet and Cable TV at home(think stone age), the library is my lone source for reaching to the outside world during my week back to Vacaville. The library is smaller than the one in Ulatis, but it’s a nice location, and much closer to my house. There are a few studying rooms and quite a few computers around, but I’m enjoying the Wi-Fi life on my laptop, albeit it’s slow as F***. Anyways, this is a good place to escape the heat of Cowtown while roaming the web checking out my fantasy teams while posting on Unilocal.Yeehaw!
