Was in the area so stopped in to this place based on the star rating.
I got the chicken nachos. I was pleased with the portion relative to the price, but was highly disappointed with the taste. The meat was tender, but flavorless even though it appeared to have been cooked in some sort of red sauce. It was also lacking for refried beans. I did appreciate that the avocados, onions & tomatoes were fresh.
My companion enjoyed her fish tacos.
All told, I wouldn’t refuse to go back, but I wouldn’t seek it out (unless, of course, I’m asked to buy a bottle of green sauce).

Always fabulous! At must stop place if you are in Vacaville. Food is fresh, quick and very TASTY! Love the green sauce. Yum!

Went in on taco Tuesday and was sad to see there was no specials but I ordered tacos anyways. They were fantastic. The carne Sada was seasoned perfectly and the small amount of avocado was perfect on top. Will be back this Tuesday

I ordered the carne asada super burrito with avocado and it was pretty dang good. The flavor of the meat was amazing and the burrito was massive. I also got a horchata and it was decent (I’m very picky about horchata).

Great prices, fast service, friendly staff. I love their carne asada and el pastor burritos.

Love this place, their food is delicious. Love their salsas. We buy the bottled once for $ 4 each. It is so worth it.

I love this place and have been going here for many many years since I am a local to Vacaville. I go by and pickup bottles of the green sauce to take home all the time. It is amazing and I highly recommend trying it with the free chips provided when you eat there. Lots of great choices on the menu.

It’s a good bet that if you just happen to be walking by Tacos Jaliscos, you’ll miss it entirely. It’s a small hole-​in-​the-​wall kind of place that you just have to look for. It’s a no-​frills Mexican cantina. So you are not going to get fancy, but are going to get heart-​felt food with amazing flavors.
The Hubs, Wee one, and I just happened to find Jaliscos the other night and I am so glad we did.
We sat ourselves and waited for a server to come by. About 2 minutes after we sat down, out came a basket of chips and two varieties of salsa. The red one was fire-​roasted with tons of delicious charred goodness. The green one was smooth and creamy and HOT!
The Hubs and Wee One both ordered Enchiladas Suiza, and I got a plate of marinated chicken with rice, and beans (sorry the exact name of the dish escapes me). Everything was delicious. The price tag was even reasonable at the end.
I think, after 6 months of searching, I’ve finally find my new favorite Mexican Joint! Olé!!!
Update: was in for a second visit yesterday (12−23−15), and everything was as good or better than our first visit. Oh and their Horchata: AMAZE-​BALLZ!!!

Traveling through and searched Unilocal and we were not disappointed. Salsas were so good and the shrimp tacos were the best I’ve ever had. Employees were all very friendly! Definitely will stop there again!

The carne asada burrito was not up to my expectations. The meat was unseasoned and cold and the tomatoes tasted old. I had to pick all the meat off because it was so gross. One good thing was the sauce. Tasted the same as the one in Vallejo (whose carne asada is amazing). I would make the 20 min drive to Vallejo next time.

My first time at this local joint. I loved the ambiance of the place. All the décor on the wall felt so homey. I love places like this, with a Traditional touch to it We ordered the carne asada with fries and some tacos. The food was delicious and so was the SALSA! Sooo goood! The servers were vey friendly. The owner, the lady who always smiles, was so sweet and welcoming. Definitely coming back!

I had a chicken salad that cost $ 11, but was worth $ 5. Shredded lettuce, tomato, cheese and shredded chicken. Tasted ok. Other people seemed to enjoy their lunches.

I am from Vacaville so most likely a little biased since I’ve been enjoying this place since I was a wee babe.
I recommend the «cocktail» or ceviche. Octopus. Don’t be scared. Just do it! So fresh and so delicious. Burritos as well if you want something heavier. Gosh. Anything you want. It’s all good.
This is our go to staple when we visit home. And you can not beat the reasonable prices! My fiancé always orders 2 burritos and then one for the road. (6’7). I want to say for us both to eat a good meal is just over $ ²⁰⁄₂₅.

I was craaavvvinnnngg tacos one day and I was going to be in the vacaville area. Unilocaled this place and there was plenty of street parking.
I think it’d be better If i didn’t come in with a taco truck mentality because i was expecting grilled onions, radishes, and limes. but I should’ve just asked. I got the pastor and it was tender and there was a hint of spice.
I liked the sauces that came with the complimentary chips and the horchata was very refreshing.

Jalisco’s is my go to spot for Mexican Food in Vacaville. Their green sauce is awesome!
I usually get the Shrimp Quesadilla, which always comes out super yummy and cheesy. Recently, I went with a coworker who requested some «roasted» whole jalapenos (they were actually just deep fried for a bit). I cut up some of those jalapenos and added them to my shrimp quesadilla and it made it super delicious. Will definitely be adding this to my order from now on.
The service there is always nice and friendly. Order a side of their guacamole to go with the complimentary chips and you won’t regret it!

Since moving to the area, I’ve been making my rounds & slowly building my list of local go-​to spots… ‘And even though, I’m rating Tacos Jalisco a middle of the road, 3 Star Rating, it may have just made the list, let me explain.
The restaurant has a very unassuming façade, nothing fancy, several cliché, beer neon signs, a table with a few chairs & umbrella… It was perfect.

Once inside, the décor was exactly what I was hoping for from a local, hole-​in-​the-​wall taqueria… Colorful, vibrant, lively.

The flavors, mild… I usually like a lot of spice/​big flavor to my plates but FRESH…
‘Absolutely. Don’t get me wrong, there was flavor to the dishes but not so much that it was overwhelming, it was mild but it was THERE… ‘And I appreciated it. Now, that’s where the salsa comes in… ‘Tasty, flavorful salsa. (Adds a great compliment to the dishes but use in moderation. Otherwise, it will bury the mild flavor of the plates.)

No matter how great or amazing the food may be @ a particular establishment, without the customer service to tie it all together… ‘Fail, every time. The food here, fair… The service, great!
