Pretty N Chic Furniture

I drove into town when there was a bike race. All of downtown was closed, and I didn’t realize it. She opened her store to a few that were looking around and I was able to buy a couple of items. Super service, nice quality and vintage items. She has classes to teach others how to paint and distress. Very cool store and very cool lady.

I absolutely love this store! Kim the owner is so talented and dedicated to her craft. I have always loved repurposing furniture or simply recycling it. The cliché «They don’t make em like they used to» is very true when it comes to furniture. So to be able to find treasures and have Kim breathe new life into them is a lot of fun for me. I also love walking into her store and finding the treasures that she has discovered and renewed. The cost of this is a fraction of what it would be in the big furniture stores and with a lot more charm and quality. Kim also shares her expertise through classes she gives at the store so that if you have the urge to fulfill some Pinterest dreams yourself she makes sure you can do it effectively. The goods at Pretty & Chic never stay on the floor long so I get a kick out of stopping by often to see what’s new. And I’m always greeted with a warm welcome. Definitely one of down town Vacaville’s treasures.

What a treasure trove! Came by looking for teacups and picked up 2 and a pair of wine glasses. Everything was reasonably priced and I look forward to visiting again.
Great selection of dressers, shelves etc that have been treated by the owner for a beautiful shabby chic vibe.
Owner was very friendly and you could see she was passionate about the stuff she sells.
Tip: Google Maps doesn’t show the right location — find it along Merchant St or call the owner for directions.

place is amazing! I love coming in here! They have beautiful furniture and items and the ladies there are very helpfu! l I love coming here at least 3 times a month or more! I highly recommend visiting it’s very much worth it!

I found this place here on Unilocal and I love things that don’t look like they come from your regular stores. As I entered this little quaint shop it definitely was my kind of shop so I was excited, but as I walk in the woman in the front looked at me like a deer caught in head lights and still spoke so I continued to browse. So the woman who I assume creates the pieces noticed someone she knew came in and started to converse about her pieces and show them around and did not speak. With all that being said there were some lovely pieces that I would have loved to purchase on the spot but the customer service here rubbed me the wrong way as if I was being treated like I would not purchase anything.

This place is amazing! I feel like it’s Pintrest in 3-​D and I absolutely love stopping in. Every piece of furniture is so uniquely done and absolutely gorgeous! I just stand around in awe most times.
All of the people who work there, in particularly Kim, the owner/​creator are so kind and fun to talk to. They are even nice enough to answer questions about technique in painting your own furniture.
Kim also offers painting classes monthly and it is SO worth it! Fun, w/​snacks & wine, and some great instruction that really made me feel more confident :)
I adore this store and am so happy to have met Kim and her beautiful creations. :)

Walking into this store is like walking into a child’s AND adults wonderland! Kim is supper friendly, talented and organized! She is eager to teach her AMAZING methods of painting furniture for the ‘do it yourselfers’ or bring in your furniture and she will do it for you! On a final note, GREAT prices!!! NO JOKE

I have recently gotten in to the painted furniture «thing». I visited several stores in Solano county but found this one just had that «family» feel and the prices are far better than the others I’ve seen!
After eating dinner across the street at my favorite restaurant, I found this shop in Vacaville. I stumbled in and found a gracious hostess, her mother, and husband. It was a complete family affair. I had at least 50 questions. Husband showed me some of the custom pieces that brother built, mother talked to me about paint, and Kim (hostess) encouraged me to give painting a try.
I signed up for her class and that’s when it all began… The class was excellent. I was impressed that she had a complete spread, wine, cheese, finger foods, etc… The class included all the materials;’ she was happy to provide a piece of furniture that you could take home, or you could bring in your own item as well. She explained the various techniques, how to use wax, shimmers, glazes, and Miss Lillian’s Chalk paint. It was a really fun event. My complements to Kim and her family. What a unique store! Great prices, great items, great paint. So, now… it’s just another excuse to visit my favorite restaurant and new favorite store.
Thank you Kim for showing me the ropes. I went from having paint anxiety to having a paint addiction!
