When I was in my early 20’s I bent down to lift a piece of pipe, when I went to lift I could not get up, my back went into pain, I dropped to my knees, after taking advil and using heating pads, my back finally became tolerable. About a month later I bent down again and the pain came back, this time I decided to visit my doctor, when he came into the room, he knew I had some back issue, he asked how this had happened, then did a little test, then told me that that I most likely slipped a disk. He told me he also had back problems, which motivated him to figure out a method of slipping the disk back in place. He figured out a way of manipulating the spine in order to make room for the disk to fall back in, I went from intense pain to none, the moment I felt the disk go back in. He also taught me to use his method to pop the disk back in, I still slip the disk out, but now I learned how to slip it back in my myself. I can’t give this Medical Doctor enough stars, the only thing I know is when you get tired of the back pain or they tell you to live with it, GOSEEHIM!
