We have purchased twice from the Vacaville location. I guess shame on us the second time around. This place employs pushy unprofessional sales people selling junk quality furniture. I explained to the salesman the second time we went there, we needed a specific type of desk. This guy brings us over to the other building in the same parking lot and points out a broken entertainment console. I said what’s this? He said a desk. I looked at my wife and looked at him and said uhh that’s not a desk. He said ohh yes it is we can cut the middle out. Okay, I’m going to leave and go back to the other side now. Unreal. Well we ended up buying a bedroom set that I think we ended up paying too much but I knew what I signed. Needless to say not the best quality. The first purchase we bought a coffee table and 2 end tables. Ended up being junk with parts of the table where the stain is coming off. The lady that sold us that had the gull to tell me twice to make sure to tip her guys. Really? It’s not my fault you don’t pay your employees enough. My advice… if you need quality furniture in the vacaville/fairfield area go to Ace Furniture. I saw them after looking up reviews for furniture stores and he had great reviews. I’ve purchased a custom desk and 3 chairs from David, top quality furniture with great customer service. Couldn’t be happier. Stay away… far away from Homelife.

So I had a couple of months to cool off about buying a sectional at Home life. We had no problems buying our bed from them 4 yrs ago, but this time our experience was horrible. In April my husband and I went to just look at couches/sectionals, but ended up falling in love with this beautiful sectional for a great price. The older man that helped us gave us a great deal as we thought. He said since we were military he would give us a discount and take off the delivery fee. We were sold! So of course I always have to take pictures of big items we were buying and to show off what we just bought. Well Thank God I did take a pic. So when when they said the would have it delivered by the weekend because she had to order a brand new one to be made. We get a call a couple days later to let us know they can deliver it in 2 days, cool. So the delivery guys delivered it we watched they put it together and I looked at my husband and told him something is wrong with the end piece. It was tilted and had about 4 inch gap at the top. I know the movers HAD to see it, but started to pack up and was about to leave. We told them that doesn’t look right, is there supposed to be a big gap like that? So one of the movers took it apart and explained that it’s all separate pieces so maybe it didn’t go in all the way.(So why would they just leave it like that?) so he put it back together and still the gap was there. Then of all things he said«it’s ur floor that crooked so that’s y where’s a gap»(wtf) and they have had an customer that his floor was crooked. But come on how could he tell with no leveler and on carpet. So he said he was going to let the store manager know but we had to call her to he someone else come out to check. Instead of calling we went down the next day to talk with them since we were going to be in the area. So my husband was talking to the manager I decided to walk around to look at other beds for my daughter. Well I passed by the where the display of the sectional we bought and I was shocked. They had a brand new floor display of the same couch just the chaise was on the opposite side. I had to call my husband over to show him and I had to show him the pic that took of it. And he asked them if they sold us the floor model, of course they said no. someone came the next day to check it out and he said the same ting that it had to be the floor, but then my husband showed him that it was tild. So we called again and told they it can’t be our floor and we want a new chair. She said she would send someone else to look at. We waited for a week and the guy that came was really nice he came with 2 levelers, took it apart and actually really looked at it and moved it to check the floor. He put it back and told us «idk what they were thinking that it was ur floor, it’s not the floor it the chair.» He said he will tell them to order a new chair. Then we asked him if the had sold the floor model to us and showed the pic to him. He looked at it and checked the couch and said yah this is the same one in the pic. It had the same creases and marks. So he told us he will tell them to order a brand new one. We told him if they had given us the floor model then they could have been honest and give us a discount on it. But they lied and was blaming each other. So we finally got our new sectional, it took over 3 weeks and a whole lot of BS. I wasn’t about to pay a lot of money for crap. U say ur gonna give me a brand new one then that what I expect. I love their furniture and would buy from them again if they wasn’t so shady and tried to rip us off. I hope no one else has to go through what we did and I hope they learn that that’s not how to run a business or treat ppl like that. It’s the point that it was stressful and that we worked hard to save money to buy something nice for our family.

Terrible and if I could I would not even give them a star. My whole experience was terrible and the pictures show it. First the mattress that was delivered is not the one I purchased, the support straps are not touching the floor and the mattress and box are stained and they look like they were used ones. The frame was scratched they touched it up. The whole thing was terribly and I’m still dealing with them. I have to drive to the store to look at another mattress. I don’t recommen this place.

Horrible horrible horrible!!! I’ve bought numerous pieces from Home Life over the last 10 years and I guess I’m one of those people who don’t just make mistakes once, I do it over and over and over again! My worst purchase was our sofa and love seat! I supposedly got a «lifetime warranty» on all mechanics but every time something breaks on our couches, which is OFTEN, I call and always get told I will be called back, which never happens. They also told me on my last repair that«lifetime» only means 5 – 7 years!!! Well then why not say you get a 5 year warranty!!! Typically, my repairs never get fixed until I’ve called at least 3 – 4 times and finally yell at someone(which I don’t enjoy doing). The customer service when purchasing in store is outstanding… but it ends there! And just so others know that I’ve given them multiple chances, I have purchased a changing screen, sofa, love seat, 1 dresser, 3 mattresses, 1 bed frame and a kitchen table and chairs all from Home Life.

We just purchased a new sofa here on a referral from a friend. Service was very friendly and not pushy. Tony helped us and was great. Very knowledgable on all the products and all sale people very nice. Offered us cold bottled water complementary while we shopped. Prices were very good compared to competition in the area and majority of products are US made. I highly recommend you check out this store if looking for furniture. We will receive our new sofa in 4 – 6 weeks and will provide an update then.

I ordered a pub table from Home Life about a week ago, when the piece arrived at the store I received a call to set up delivery. They did not have an open schedule. The only day was Friday from 10 – 12. As I had an appt. I asked for them to be here between 10 – 11. This was obliged, as I sat here and waited the time went from 10 am to 1130 when the two guys finally arrived. Im thinking ok, I still have time to make the appt. until I realized that the table was not even assembled!!! This took another 30 – 40 min. for them to assemble in my driveway :/ When they brought the furniture in it was wobbly and poorly built. If that isn’t enough they blamed it on my floors. By this time I had missed my appt. and I am just thoroughly upset. I have purchased from this establishment before and the service and quality is just not the same. Very disappointed…

If you dont want to ruin your day i dont recommend this store… If you want to encounter arrogant sales lady and high qoute of furniture .look for Angie… If you want to get a best deal furniture I dont recommend this store… Compare their price to other store and you will know how much profit they want… Costumer care… Very low//furniture price… Very high

Came into the store looking for a table and we found the one we liked. I wanted to find out who the manufacturer was of the table. They told me it was A-1 furniture«or something» and wouldn’t for some reason give me the name and acted very shady. I am a frugal shopper and like to price around before I buy an expensive product. Well I took a picture of it, went to a nearby competitor and they told me it was a brand«Home Elegance». Not only did they have the same table but for a lot less. I purchased it and felt like I was treated with honesty. At least from now on I will go into Home Life furnishings to see products and buy elsewhere.

I have bought numerous items from this store, the last being my entire bedroom set. The owner is always willing to work on a better price with you and we got it super fast, with free delivery. My only complaint was the bed frame. It came apart a little bit, but my husband placed another screw in and has seemed to be fine since then. I really like this store though, and they are great to military members.
