Made an appointment with him 3 days before for a specific time and location. I called 45 minutes before the appointment to confirm but no answer so I left a message. I drove 25 minutes from work to meet him at the specific time set, I was there 5 minutes early, but no Mike or a call saying he was going to be late or cancelling. I called 2 more times while I waited for the next 20 minutes, still no answer from him but I left 2 more messages saying where are you? Finally, I left to drive 25 minutes back to work. What a complete waste of my time. Prime example of an inconsiderate contractor you should not waste your time with. By the way, he never called to apologize or even explain why he never showed.

I am torn while writing this review. We have worked with Mike (Green Dreams) on several projects after moving into to our new home. We first chose them pour our patio and walkway in our backyard. During this phase, communication was great, the project went smoothly, and we had no issues. Mike and his team did an excellent job. Our second phase included installing our irrigation system and laying our sod, again everything went smoothly without any issues.
Our last phase, however, has been a complete disaster. We had Mike design our landscaping for our backyard. During this time, the communication with Mike was horrible. We would call him and e-​mail him with no response for weeks and sometimes there was never a response. Many of the plants/​trees that were planted died within weeks of being planted. I called and emailed to complain again with little to no response. My roses that arrived and were planted were not the colors we had agreed upon. Needless to say, there were multiple issues with the plants/​trees, and I am still waiting for a plant (where I have an empty pot) that I never received yet I paid for it (and that was a year ago)!

The initial impression was good. After paying the deposit, the excuses on why he cannot show me the preliminary landscape design by the agreed date start to come. Finally, after several extensions on the due date, I had enough and cancelled the project.

I was very disappointed with the unprofessional response or lack there of by owner Mike Apodaca. I had a consultation with him regarding changing my lawn into a drought conscious yard, using rock and drought tolerant plants. I met with him on on 7÷1÷2015. He assured me that I would have an estimate and see his plans by the end of the following week. To date 7÷16÷2015, I have not received a phone call, email, nor letter, from him explaining the delay.
If he felt the job was to small for his company ($ 4,000-$ 5,000) dollars off the cuff, then he should have just said so. I held off on another bid, awaiting drawing from him. This is unacceptable from a business, customer service aspect.
