Batteries Plus Bulbs

Great customer service. Went in to replace some small batteries for a camera. I was greeted upon entry and the associate quickly helped me find what I needed. Highly recommend.

I was searching for a particular battery for my alarm system and I’ve been going to different places to look for this particular battery. I was getting disappointed and a customer service at Radio Shack told me about this place. Sure enough, as soon as I came in to the door, a very friendly customer service person greeted me. I greeted him back. Then he asked me what I came in for and I showed him the battery that I needed. Sure enough he found what I was looking for. I was happy and excited that I got it. Then he told me that I should have gone here first. And I said, I only found out about this place through referral, the radio shack. So now I know where to get batteries, bulbs, flashlights, etc. Never knew this store existed.

Friendly, quick and knowledgeable! Within a minute of describing the light bulb I needed, the lady helping me showed me options. She sure knew her stuff, try to stump her! LOL! After trying True Value, Home Depot, Lowes, etc, this is the real one stop light bulb shop! Oh and they have so many batteries! If you’re looking for something strange or unusual battery or light bulb wise, this is your place.

Being a homeowner in a relatively new home is a drag when things start going out… like light bulbs. With the new aged bulbs, I’m over whelmed — flood lights, «specialized» bulb sockets, adapters. I just want to go somewhere, get a replacement bulbs and go home without having to worry about «Out of stock» or «special ordering.» And this is what’s great about Batteries Plus Bulbs. I’ve had some pretty good service here with no complaints. Also, if you bring your old bulb in they have a recycling bin for broken bulbs. Win!

This store is way too expensive. 2 D cell batteries for $ 8.99…Costco has 14 D cell batteries for $ 14.89. Bought 2 light bulbs at this store for $ 3.99 ea and saw them at home depot for $ 1.49 each. Unfortunately this store will be the last place I check for any bulb or battery needs.

Great place to go! Awesome prices and customer service. Purchased a car battery and AJ went the extra mile to install it as well. id totally recommend this place for any of your battery needs.

Went to all the local places to find a very specific light bulb. Wal-​Mart, Lowe, Home Depot, Ace hardware. Finally the sales person from Ace suggested this business (we didn’t know this store was even there and had just passed it twice coming/​going to slowest).
I called ahead to just ask and of course there are so many different batteries he suggested we bring it in so we could match it. Well, we were far from home so that wasn’t happening. Good news is when we got there, my husband described what we needed and they had them! Best part was we were expecting to pay $ 8-​$ 9 per bulb and they were only $ 6. Score!!!
There was a lady working who greeted us when we walked in. AJ assisted us in finding what we needed and was very pleasant and professional. The store was very neat, clean and organized. Will certainly remember and recommend them for future needs.

The guy that helped me was nice (I didn’t catch his name but he had tattoos on his arms) but the woman who was sitting in the computer had a major attitude, didn’t acknowledge I was even there and talked to her coworker like he was an idiot.
I felt bad for the guy working there.
They may have every battery and bulb known to man but without some decent customer service this business is a flop!
Manager: check in with your staff! There is a leaking hole! This place is too expensive to be treated second class.

This store is great, so convenient! They have any and every kind of bulb and battery you could need! The staff is very helpful and knowledgable! Thank you for helping us find the bulbs and solar batteries we needed!

Amazing experience. Came in because my s4 needed a new battery, it would die extremely quickly. Very knowledgeable very helpful staff. Gave me tips on how to lengthen my battery life, replaced my battery and tossed my old battery for me.

I was in need of a battery for my CE5 Neuton mower. Called the store and Mike answered. I let him know what I was looking for and at first he was you need to bring it in. I stated I had found replacement batteries online with the manufacturer and amazon. Just wanted to see if this local place had the batteries here’s the part number. Mike asked again for me to bring in the part because the online numbers may not be good. I stated I opened the unit myself and verified online and with the manufacturer the numbers were good. After two more request Mike then finally agreed to check, sure enough they had the batteries in stock. I said great and how much?
I was sticker shocked at first and told Mike that’s 25% more expensive than the manufacturer price and 50% more than the leading online seller. Mike went on a long online bashing campaign, basically cheaper is not better and you have to pay for shipping. I told Mike hey take a breath, slow down. I have shopped online a lot and I get free shipping thanks for the information but I will be ordering online.
Not sure if Mike was actually okay with my response as He stated well as long as that’s what the customer wants. I told Mike yes the customer, me, wants to save 50%. Recapped online has a two year warranty so for free shipping and two year warranty and 50% cheaper than local, yes makes me, the customer happy…
I did not buy anything, just writing this review for other buyers. I visited the store once when it opened and it seems that the store has a lot to offer… just when I needed a set of batteries I got more crap than facts.
I did not enjoy the online bashing. I like to hear the facts with out hearing all the trash talking.

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! The owners and the employees are horrible. Bought a battery in a Sacramento store in Jan of 2014. The battery went bad. WE charged it and tested it, took it into the Vacaville store because they are the closest to where we live. They said they had to charge the battery over nite and said they would let us know. They never called us so we called them and they said that the battery was fine. Took it home put it back in the bike and it didn’t work. Then we thought well maybe it was the starter so we bought a new starter that was $ 400 (it’s a harley and everything is expensive!!!). Changed the starter and the bike still didn’t start. we checked the battery again and our load tester said it was bad again. Now we are thinking maybe it is our equipment so we take the battery afger it was fully charged to O’Reilly Auto Parts, they test it and say the battery is bad. Came home and called the Vacaville store again. They were rude said they couldn’t help us without a receipt. We called the store in Sacramento and they sent us a copy of the receipt. That still wasn’t good enough for the Vacaville store. They told me that it was not a real receipt and that we were making the receipt up ourselves. Really, I forwarded the e-​mail from one store to another. Then they called the store and had them fax over the same thing that I sent them. I even talked to the owners son Jake and he basically said I was lying and his employees are never rude at all. The employees names are Tom, and Sylvia. I hoe everyone reads this and does not use this store. I also called the corporate headquarters and filed a complaint against this store. I really wish that corporate would pull their franchise license but I doubt they will do that.

Mike was extremely helpful and really made our experience at this store stand out. He was eager to help us. Honestly I probably wouldn’t have spent the extra money on the bulbs he was selling if he wasn’t SO nice!

What can I say … this store literally saved me from wanting to punch «Brian» over at the T-​Mobile store.
I was directed here because T-​Mobile didn’t carry the replacement battery (or any battery that I know of) for my Samsung Galaxy S III. After being told several times that «they’re probably closed» I decided to drive down the street to see for myself. I was so relieved to see the OPEN sign on and the nicest gentleman who greeted me! We both laughed when he heard my whisper under my breath — «Oh Thank the Lord!» He knew … he just knew.
He was friendly, polite, understanding, product knowledge was excellent, and he offered me some wonderful tips to help maintain my old phone’s new battery to maximize it’s life.
They had the item I needed and the cost was pretty much what I had expected to pay. The terrific tips and advice was FREE!
I’m sorry, I can’t remember his name (I will find his card and update this review at a later date) — but I thank you so much for keeping me from wanting to beat someone. We laughed, we shared Unilocal stories and recommendations. I felt like an «old friend». So, thank you, for treating me like a friend. I will be delighted to direct anyone who needs any battery of any kind (or bulb as well) to a Batteries & Bulbs store. Great customer service, moderate prices, clean establishment, complete inventory.
