The staff here is extremely helpful! As soon as I walked into the store I was immediately approached by a staff member who asked if I needed any help finding anything or needed any suggestions. I found the store to be stocked to the brim with a large selection of spirits. If I had to say anything bad about the store it would be that the prices were not «discounted» they were average prices you would find any any store. That was not really a problem for me as I was not expecting any dramatic savings. All in all I give this liquor store a 5 star rating. The hospitality here is 100%. I will surely return when im in the area for all my drinking needs!

Century is a really comprehensive store for spirits, wine and beer. They have a great selection of all and competitive pricing. I don’t know anything about the previous post because I was just «passing through» and needed a good bottle of wine (I live in central MA) but I can say that I was helped by Brian, who later revealed he owned the joint, and he was not only friendly but gave me a recommendation that proved to be exactly what he said it was and exactly what I was looking for.
It’s rare that a liquor store has anyone on staff to help with wine. It’s even more rare that they actually know what they have to choose from and can point of the really good values. Politics aside, if I lived closer, I’d shop here.
I don’t like to speculate about town/​city bureaucracy, it can be quite a pissing contest. But as a business, I think Century is meeting and exceeding expectations for a small town package store.
