I went here last night for a Unilocal event and had a splendid time! It’s in a beautiful studio in the historic part of Utica; parking is at a bit of a premium, so make sure to get there early! I was nervous about dancing with people I didn’t know and not being able to learn fast enough, but Lori, Amanda, and Daniel were all amazing instructors, and everyone was very friendly and encouraging! I liked that they showed you the moves, then had you practice it alone, and then with a partner.
They have lots of different classes and social events that go on, and if you don’t want to dance in a group they also offer private lessons. I’ll definitely be back.

I went to Argentine Tango Detroit for the Unilocal,‘Quirks Out’ party. It was my first time of any formalized dance instruction, and I was blown away at how amazeballs it was! I enjoyed myself so much, I bought 10 lessons.
I have been wanting to learn Tango and many other formalized forms of dance for years, and this was precisely the catalyst I needed to push me into it. Lori and Amanda were great instructors, and their skills on the floor were inspiring.
Their side events, i.e., dancing in the park, will be a great addition to my repertoire to avoid the monotony that life brings if you let it.
Two thumbs up, highly recommend.
