Shore & Ruark Seafood

We got oysters, scallops and spicy seafood dip to go and had a beer (which was crazy inexpensive) on their beautiful deck while they prepared everything. The staff was incredibly friendly and the ambiance was awesome. We ate the seafood at home and it was top notch. Very fresh and delicious. We will definitely be going back here.

The food was excellent the waitstaff were great wonderful place. I had the clam chowder which was wonderful bit spicy and the fried or oysters which were cooked to perfection

Great food, great water views, cheap prices. We split a shrimp boil for $ 16 which was plenty of food for 2.

I really like this place. The waitstaff is pleasant and helpful. The food is clean tasting and fresh as can be. You can have a nice lunch and then buy some fresh seafood to take home to cook for your dinner. Currently, If you choose to go for dinner you need to order your food by 8 PM,
After at least half a dozen visits, my favorite dishes are oysters on the half shell, the gazpacho with crab, and grouper cooked any way at all. My dining partners have rated the crabcakes highly, as well as the vegetable sides. I generally don’t eat fried foods, but again, my dining partners have given the fried options high marks.
The atmosphere is picnic tables on the dock with beautiful water views or screened in porch areas also providing a view. You can arrive by land or by sea. But if you would like more comfortable seating, bring a boat cushion to soften up the picnic benches.

Wow! This little riverfront eatery is a pearl! Everything about our recent dining experiences (6 now) shout out that somebody cares A LOT about this new restaurant venture.
Over the past several weeks we’ve tested the menu (hard) diving into everything from the pan seared grouper, gazpacho (shut-​up!), and oysters-​every-​which-​way to more hush puppies than we’ll ever own up to. The offerings are impeccably fresh and the flavors stand up cleanly on their own thanks to the chef.
This is a casual place to enjoy outstanding seafood served by a mega friendly staff in an on-​water-​chilaxed atmosphere!
Love this place!!! Love it even more now that we can enjoy a cold Chardonnay with our half shells ;)
