Too bad you HAVE to even give one star. In Danville, your word is your bond… apparently not so with these folks. United Van Lines should be ashamed to affix their name to this business. Our move was so simple, so easy… move our 90 year old mother and her two bedroom appartment to an independent living facility less than a mile away. Received a fair quote, decided to use them because of their name, then called the sales guy (when we said we would) and accepted their offer, dates and details. Three days later, the office calls me back that ‘they had a conflict, there was a scheduling problem, yadda yadda yadda but they could work us in a week or so. Really helps with my family has our travel plans (flights) already made, etc. The worst is that I’ve called them 6 times with no response whatsoever. We are small potatoes, but do not appreciate this treatment. No more United movers for our family or my company’s employees.
