The best family-​owned garbage company you could ask for. I’ve personally known Dale Levitt and his crew for well over 20 years. They offer second to none customer service and pay attention to all the minor details while they’re out on the job.
They have competitive pricing and are always willing to work with you for extra haul or an additional pick up. I think the greatest aspect of this family owned business is their customer service. It’s evident anytime you call them or if you’re outside when they stop to pick up your trash that the customer is their number one priority. i’ve spoken with a good number of folks over the years that would agree that they value to customers opinion.
I’ve lived all over the United States and this was likely the best family own garbage hauler I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

This service was once wonderful, then Dale passed. Some family took over and the ‘customer service’ disappeared.
When they changed from ‘provide your own can’ to ‘toter provided’ I had been paying for 2 cans. They delivered one toter which I thought the toters were larger so one cost the same as two of my own cans (nobody told me anything). After about a year, I was shopping for new service in Champaign (moving, Dale Levitt doesn’t operate in Champaign) and noticed I was actually paying for 2 toters. I called Dale Levitt Disposal and the lady told me «oh, we’ll fix it for your next bill». I asked if I could get some kind of discount since I had essentially been overcharged $ 100. The lady said the next bill would be no charge. I thanked her and we ended the conversation. About 5 minutes later, I received a call from the husband of the lady I spoke with (apparently he’s the new owner). He started yelling at me saying they didn’t owe me anything, that I shouldn’t expect anything free, and it’s my own fault I didn’t realize I was being overcharged. He hung up on me so I called the lady back and cancelled my service. It took them a month to pick up their toter. UNACCEPTABLE
