I called six contractors to survey my home to provide a proposal for a whole house generator. I am a first time home owner so I was looking for the best, meaning a company that could provide a personal touch in making sure my home was taken care of. I selected T&T because the proposal was less than the more dominate brand name companies in the area. Additional positives for T&T is that I did not have to hire a second contractor or plumber to run the gas line; and customer service can be described as prompt and more than respectful. Finally, the technician came prepared and clearly knew what he doing as far a I can see. No complaints and I would refer T&T without question. I’ll follow-up this review after I actually use the generator a couple times.

The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the problem was pretty simple so I’m not sure how good they would be at diagnosing something difficult. Came exactly when he said he would, diagnosed low but non-zero Freon just by putting his hand over the outdoor unit (I was impressed — the last guy missed this somehow) and confirmed with gauges, found the leak in the coils with a meter but said it was very small and the system should hold for the summer, measured for eventual replacement of the coils and left me the info and a price estimate for eventual replacement. Polite, pleasant and knowledgeable.
