Sukhothai

Sukhothai is a an excellent, authentic thai restaurant. I was a regular at the former location in Phoenixville under a different name. The new restaurant has a much better location for their business, unfortunately for us it is now a little out of the way. We do try our best to get their as often as we can. We have tried every thai restaurant in a 15 mile radius of Collegeville and this was the most authentic to our tastes. We lived in Southern California for 10 years and quickly grew to adopt thai as one of our favorite cuisines. I like it hot, and my wife not so much so. We are always able to find something there that we each like. The menu is varied and the chef’s specials are always top notch. I had a fabulous lamb dish the last time I was there and was treated to an unusual mushroom soup that wasn’t on the menu. It was outstanding! Even my picky children, ages 7 and 9 enjoy the thai wings and spring rolls. The staff and owner are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. BYOB and enjoy some great authentic thai food.
