Market Furniture

I recently moved to the city from west coast. I was visiting a place in the area and I walked into this store. A small store and is manned by one person. This person showed me some sectionals and sofas from catalogs. I liked the one which was present in the store with recliners. Since it was good enough to fit in my living room, I bargained for it. He charged me 1000 USD including everything (taxes, delivery and assembly). I was satisfied since we were really trying hard to buy something. It is around 4.4 miles (google maps) from our apartment and around 6 miles from the famous liberty bell in Philadelphia. After around 4 days of this deal, I got a call stating that my sofa will be ready by tomorrow for delivery. I specifically asked him to deliver it after 5 pm to which he agreed. I told him that my apartment is right behind home depot and he said he know where it is. On the day of delivery I got a call at around 4 pm to know if I am ready to take delivery, I reminded them that I can be there only after 5 pm. They were not happy. Now the call came from this store and the gentleman told me that I do not stay in Philadelphia! I said well I gave you the address and he said yes and I wrote Philadelphia but it should be Clifton heights. His store address is Upper Darby but he claims to be in Philadelphia but a Clifton height is not? I reminded him that I even told him about the home depot, and his reply there are 100s of home depots. According to his GPS it will take 25 mins to reach my apt. He has to charge me for the delivery. Now if his GPS is right he must be driving under 10 miles an hour, by his logic liberty bell which is 6 miles away will take more than 30 mins and it is still in Philla! He kept on arguing and I just told him to take delivery charges. I asked him whether I can return the item as I was irritated he said no since they have no refund policy. When delivery guys came they were cursing him too. In addition to all that his terms and conditions say; his guys will not take packaging material after unpacking and assembling and if your furniture does not go through the door they will not deliver/​assemble it.
Felt this is a store run by high unprofessional staff. They just try to take money and once they have money they are ready to twist things according to their choice. One star for delivery on time but I am not going to visit this store again. Not recommended but if you do end up here please get everything in writing. Remember delivery was free and it was written but he failed to oblige.
