I love Dunn Edwards paint. It is high quality and you can get away with 1 coat. I just finished painting several rooms, a hallway and kitchen. The colors came out great. I also had to cover a purple color that I thought would be difficult. Dunn Edwards primer was the best. It only needs 1 coat and I was able to paint a lighter color. If you go to the Ontario location, ask for Robin. She was such a great help in picking colors and grabbing all the necessary tools. She didn’t try to up-​sell me things I didn’t need.

Not sure why the review is so bad… People are nice and helpful everytime I’ve visited. Compared to big box stores, the staff here are definitely much more knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve purchased many paint from here and have been satisfied.
I do have to say we like Benjamin Moore paint better though. We find Benjamin Moore paint’s color to match pictures better than Dunn Edwards paint on a few occasions. So if you do purchase paint here, try a small sample size first and paint on multiple walls to determine if you have the correct color.
They have free color sample coupon on Unilocal… I’ve used it a few times and they’ve always given it to me.

Their service was definitely excellent I came in for paint samples was given advise and was also offered water or coffee and then when the samples were ready they walked them to my car. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I have bought a lot of paint from here. I just bought a paint for my metal gate last week. Today I found out the complex is changing all the colors for the building. The color I bought no longer match the new color. They would not take the paint back even though it was never used. They won’t even exchange for a different color. This is the way they treat their loyal customers. I am taking my business somewhere else. Stay away from Dunn Edwards Upland!
