Arigato Sushi

me and my fiancé are always looking for new places to eat around the area, saw the ratings and wanted to check it out.
went in on a friday, place was filled, so we figure it was worth a shot.
Food — sushi was inexpensive compared to other spots we’ve gone to in the area, however, quality did show for the price. Avocado was brown when given to me on the roll, and can tell the fish was not too fresh. The fiancé got okay sushi, but nothing too spectacular or stood out.
Service — not great at all. Yes, I understand they were busy, but the restaurant is not that big and they only had 2 large parties the whole time we were there. Took a while for us to receive our food, table was sticky when we sat down, and when when we were ready to pay, they just completely forgot about us that we just walked up to their to-​go cashier and we paid up front.
overall, okay sushi and mediocre service; not a place we are looking to go back to.

This review is for the service the boy with glasses and little shit bun in his head is horrible he is making that sushi spot killer for everyone I love the food and just hope the owner sees that he needs to get rid of that server and upgrade to an attentive, multi tasking, polite, CLEAN server. The girl seemed very well on it and cheerful but that guy is lack for better words SHITTY! Its continuousreminding and almost self serve my dad had to get his own drink and i had to ask for napkins and an extra plate 3times! The food the food is a 5. Just please recognize that you need better staff Sean thanks.

My son and I frequent this restaurant often. We switch from this one and another local sushi spot. The servers and chef’s here are very friendly, attentive, and the food is alway fresh! The atmosphere is very mellow and welcoming.

Best quality fish in the IE! Awesome service, makes you feel right at home :) must try the SCRMA roll, baked lobster and Jessica roll!!!

I’ve eaten from this place before but never have been here myself. For the first time in a cold day I decide to head there for some take out and miso soup. There is a guy in the register counting money and the same guy decides to grab ingredients with his same dirty money hands to pour into my soup. Awful! Nasty! So Disrespectful that I even felt discrimination.
I paid for the soup and leave but not one person said thanks or anything. I actually thanked a chef by the exit and he ignored me.
I don’t say anything not acted up after what I saw.
I headed home and put all my faith that nothing would happen.
Best head out somewhere else.

Rainbow roll not tasty and the wasabi was weak, edamame wasn’t fresh, spicy tuna nachos were different and not in a good way

At last… we’ve found a new home for sushi! We’ve been trying to find a new place, so we came and tried Arigato tonight. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Sean, the owner is the sushi chef, an artist behind the bar. Most important part always has to be the fish and this is the best we’ve had in our 12 years in the I.E. Sean insisted we try the Albacore… one of the best bites I’ve ever had. We had another order of it after that and the Tuna was also perfect. We also had a roll I think was called a SCWERMA… it had several layers of phenomenal flavor. Our server Mikayla was terrific, very friendly and attentive. Overall, Sean has a great thing going on here… first rate service, rich favors and a truly «chill» atmosphere. If you try it, I’m sure you’ll be impressed also.

This place is good. baked lobster roll and spider rolls are my favorite. Good service as well.

Love this place! Great food and great service! The wife and I came here for a quick little date night and were very impressed! We sat at the bar area and got really good service. Anytime my wife even whispered to me what she wanted, the chefs heard and had the waitresses tending to her. We will be coming here more often for sure! If you’re looking for a sushi bar with great food and service, this spot is worth checking out!

Fun and and delicious sushi. Very creative and fresh… The help was quite nice and did there best when a rush hit. I was impressed with the portions and was pleasantly stuffed. Would go back for sure!!!

This is one of the usual sushi places I go to. I love how miso soup and salad are included in most of their orders. Their customer service is great and they are usually prompt with bringing out the meals. I recommend it!

Arigato is one of my local favorites. I don’t even like fish and I still love this place. Why? Because they’re chicken teriyaki is the best I’ve ever had. Pair that with a veggie roll and I’m on cloud 9.

Best sushi in town. I’m sure I could find better somewhere… maybe tokyo? Sean is great and the food is amazing. Forget all you can eat, that’s for rookies! Let Sean make whatever he wants, you will love it!

One of my fave sushi spots in the IE. Why? because they never change a thing. I’ve been coming here for quite some time now and its the same thing every time. I like that, consistency is a great thing, I enjoy their servers. Food is good, great price, and quick service. I will continue to come here time and time again, never disappointing.

Absolutely love this place. They have great food, as well as great prices. Everyone that works here knows exactly what I want. I’ve been going here for over 8 years now and have never had 1 bad experience. My favorite place to go with family and friends.

Gross. My sushi was warm and my avacodo was brown in my California roll. Never eating here again.

After reading all the great reviews on Unilocal my family and i decided to give this place a shot. We ordered food to go over the phone which wasn’t the bad part. First off when i went to pick up my order one of the workers ignored me until i finally said I’m here to pick up my order. He shrugged his shoulders and said cool! I waited 10 more mins until he finally helped me.
Once i got the food home everyone served themselves and maybe an hour later everyone felt nauseous. 3 of my family members including myself were up all night with diarrhea. I will never eat here again the food was disgusting and the service horrible. Anyone thinking of trying this place should go somewhere else.

Service was on point. Mikayla was super friendly and attentive. We came on a mellow Friday. I wish the atmosphere and music were a little more up beat but it’s cool.
I got aloha roll, bf got the Baked lobster roll. And order of albacore sushi. The sumi salad was so good I ordered another. It comes with the specialty rolls as well as miso soup. Aloha roll was good and lobster roll I felt was just ok. But over all I thought everything was pretty good. Id come back. The prices are pretty good. Our bill was $ 26.68

Shawn is the best… All their food is delicious and his got a very friendly staff as well. I definitely recommend this Sushi Restaurant

Haven’t been here in awhile but their sashimi salad drsg wasn’t the same. still had that sesame taste but my taste buds don’t agree with it this time and fish didn’t taste as fresh i also got the Washington roll with soy paper. it is simple raw salmon outside wit cali roll inside. sushi rice inconsistent too dry in some areas of the Washington roll.
I will give them another chance cause maybe it was just the lunch rush…
My lunch cost for sashimi salad n roll were $ 23.
Not bad but not good either cause my tummy wasn’t as happy as before.
It’s disappointing really cause the sashimi salad was my fave @arigatosushi
