Been going here for years. A very comfortable shop, I know everyone. Always satisfied with my cut/​foil/​wax. Marie shows me how to do the style when I leave. Never rushed takes her time. I’ve sent three people here. Highly recommend, a fun place to get your hair done at.

Called and got a next-​day appointment. I can’t say enough about this place! My daughter got a great haircut and the owner helped us out tremendously because we were doing a Locks-​of-​Love donation.
I will be scheduling my appointment very soon and I hope to keep this place around for many years to come.

I called in on a Thursday and received a 5 PM appointment; the person answering the phone was polite.
The salon has six stations. The stations along one wall have mirrors that go down to the floor, so customers should be aware and dress accordingly.
I arrived early and waited. Right on 5, I was seated.
I was assigned to Linda and asked for a cut. The cut and shampooing came out to $ 40.00. My layers grew out; so I asked for layers and a trim. I liked the cut and Linda was very friendly.
The salon had some regulars there and everybody seemed comfortable and it wasn’t too loud while they were all having conversation.
I noticed that at least two of the stylists, including Linda have Paul Mitchell aprons and they sold Paul Mitchell products, if any others on Unilocal are interested.
Linda seemed experienced with customer service; she made sure to give me her card and if I had any questions or further issues with my cut (which I don’t, I like it very much) to give her a call.
The parking area for the salon is a little tight, so it would be best to call in for an appointment.

The girl that created such a disaster on my hair has been let go since. One of the gals from the shop and the owner personally dropped off a card and some product to say they were sorry for my experience. That right there speaks volumes about the salon and the reputation they uphold. If I hadn’t found someone else by this point, I would I’ve them a second chance.

I have been going here for cuts and highlights for about 2 years. Lara, the owner, cuts my hair and I am always happy with the results. She uses good quality products and knows how to do great highlights as well as great cuts. I recommend Panache and Lara to anyone in the UP area who does not want to drive all the way to Tacoma for a great cut.
Extra bonus: price is reasonable.
