GoodFellas Barbershop

I’ve been coming to this shop for a about a year and every time, I’ve always walked out feeling good but not only from getting a great cut, but getting a few good laughs in too. It’s a «feel good» atmosphere and the barbers are authentic — not like the barber shop down the street advertising «Great» Clips

Bad experience here. Requested specific block cut got a taper which clearly I did not ask for. Barber seemed distracted during cut. Won’t be back. First bad review I have written on Unilocal but felt compelled because they have many great reviews earlier and this definitely did not reflect in my experience.

I stopped in the other day to get a quick haircut. I saw one person come out with a clean cut while I was parking. I walked in and a younger gentleman has just walked in before me. There were two barbers, one standing, talking on his phone about child support, and the other sitting in the barber chair playing on his phone.
Both of us stood there for a couple of minutes before the one on his phone decided to acknowledge us. He started talking to the other customer about what he wanted done. The other barber was still sitting in his chair, looked at me, and continued to play on this phone. Once the barber has gotten the details of the cut, he looked at me and said I would be next. My total time standing around was about 7 minutes before I was even acknowledged. The barber on his phone finally got up and just walked out and sat in his car.
That was enough for me. I left and will not return. People, even if you’re going on break, talk to your customers. Your service depends on customers and your ability to effectively communicate with them.

Went here for a simple men’s fade (I’m in the military) and a half an inch off the top. I proceeded to sit there for 45 minutes while the barber cut my hair extremely slowly, to leave me with a chop job on both sides and the back. He was also using a pair of clippers which were painful– come to find I have two small red cuts on my head from where he was buzzing. He was literally cutting my face with them. Horrible haircut, took forever, and all the while I have to listen to all the employees hollering at each other and bragging about «their thug days». Seriously?

My usual barbershop is in Lakewood but I was looking for someplace closer to home one day, so I could get my hair cut on my lunch break. I just have an undercut, so I only needed the back and sides cleaned up. I was able to walk-​in and be seen in less than 10 mins and they did a quick but killer job. All of the barbers were friendly, too! For the price and the convenience, it really can’t be beat!

Much better then any super cuts in the area. You wont be out in 10 minutes but they will do your hair right

Let me first start off by saying these guys are the best. Ive gotten my haircut their countless times and they do a perfect job no matter who you are, or what you look like. I come out of that place looking like Bond every time because of my boy Barber Mike. He is their master barber and i swear to god he is a f%#*ing master. Ive had my haircut at many different places and no one does a job like they do. I would rather wait 2hours for this place then go anywhere else. I travel 350 miles from school once a month just so I can get buzzed up. All of them are very respectful and if you like sports then you belong here. Thanks again guys, you are the greatest!

Phenomenal cut, laid back space, and he was the easiest barber to talk to. From someone not from around here I felt really pleased with being there. Check him out, it’s worth it!

These guys are classy.
Both have brought their own personality to their cutting style.
I have seen impressive lines, fades, and even badass designs.

The price, and the cut, were too low!
Tried it out based on the reviews. Met the shop owner, and he was pretty cool.
Unfortunately, the cut was much lower than I wanted, but I mostly have myself to blame because I wasn’t very specific. Can’t blame them for that.
But I also wasn’t allowed to look at myself in the mirror while getting the cut most of the time. My chair was faced backwards towards the back wall. I asked the man if I could see myself in the mirror. The barber declined and said that he needed me facing the other way as not to break his concentration. If I had seen myself in the mirror, I could have told them that he was cutting it too low!
The price was awesome and these guys were very friendly, but my haircut was lower than I wanted. It was a VERY good haircut nonetheless, but I’m going elsewhere.
Price was nice though.

I was always hesitant to cut my locks cause I didn’t trust anybody to give me the proper look. I didn’t really know what to get. Walked in good fellas and I told the homie dontay to hook it up. I trusted the homie and it paid off. He knew wassupp and I ain’t never going anywhere else. All these guys know wassupp! They professionals! Just sit back chillaxx to the smooth grooves and let them put in work cuz they can fade and trim you up mang!!! FIVE STARS!

You need a haircut at a good price? You need to watch the Mariner’s game while you’re waiting? You want to look good on Monday morning? Then go see the boys at Goodfellas. It doesn’t look like Mitt Romney’s type of place, but you’ll leave there looking like a million bucks.

Good Fellas is an old school barbershop that is no-​frills, but long on great customer service and the running comedy routine between Dante and DC is not to be missed. They always have the game on and are willing to keep you entertained while they do a great job on your haircut. DC even photographed my son’s haircut because he thought it turned out so well. I will definitely be back I a couple of weeks and bring the boys!

Awesome little barber shop in University Place! I was looking for a new barber — I only ever get «buzzcut» hair cuts. But my old barber, less than a mile away, upped their price to $ 18 + tip — for a BUZZCUT! That’s ridiculous. So I started shopping around and have now settled on Good Fellas.
The vibe is young and hip, but being 51 is no problem! Dante and DC both do a great job, they’re friendly and talkative, and so much nicer and more conversational than the old shop I was going to.
It’s not a fancy place but comfortable and almost «cozy», with 4 chairs. Walk-​ins are always welcome, but they can make appointments too. Prices are excellent — WAY better than the other shop here in town.
If you’re looking for a basic barber shop that’s long on friendly and inviting, you can’t do better than Good Fellas. And no, I’m not related to any of them LOL! Just really like the service they offer.
