Husband bought me a massage for Mothers Day and I would definitely go back! It was very relaxing and Alex was very professional. As someone who rarely gets massages this was a fantastic treat and great for self care.

I saw Cindy and she gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. I have been suffering from chronic back pain for years and Cindy was so patient in trying to fix years of damages in one hour. They do not take Premera Blue Cross here so I had to pay out of pocket. Be sure to call and verify if your insurance is accepted here first.

Throughly enjoyed my massage today. It was with Alex. He was awesome. Very nice & informative. It was my first time & I will definitely be going back. I always have neck issues and my neck feels brand new. And then regular soreness from working out & I feel great. I recommend this place to anyone! And I used the Unilocal deal for $ 45. Excellent price.

I’ve been seeing Cindy for years now and have always had a awesome experience! I refer to her as «The Body Wisperer» because she has an amazing knack to find trouble spots you didn’t even know were bothering you until you can feel the relief.

When I called for the first time, I was greeted with an enthusiastic voice. When I had to call back the next day to reschedule, Alex, the massage therapist was more than accommodating. As I came to the door on the day of my massage, I was there before opening, so I tapped on the glass. Staff kindly let me in and got me all set for my massage.
The massage room was clean, cozy, with a refreshing ambience. My therapist, Alex, introduced himself and put me right at ease. He asked me about my trouble spots and what areas I would like to have focus on. The massage was much needed. I am a busy full time student and intern at a busy non-​profit. I also work out, so I had fatigued muscles. Alex and the entire staff took great care of me, from start to finish. I couldn’t wait to set my next appointment!

Cindy is the best human and massage artist on the planet. You will feel like you died, went to heaven and had the best out of body experience ever. Doug works wonders too. If you have back issues, he knows what to do.

My wife and I have purchased Groupons before and they were awful but this was not the case at all. Doug and Alex did an amazing job and we will be back. This Groupon was worth every penny but will be returning without a Groupon!!!

Doug clearly has the necessary understanding of anatomy to work to fix the root of the problem. I was a little nervous about having a massage from a guy since I have always had female therapists and especially since my problem area is my hip but he is very professional and easy– going so surprisingly I didn’t feel awkward at all. I’m sure he is great with «spa» type relaxation massages too but for me I’m really stoked to find someone who is able to pinpoint what is really going on so I get the benefit of the massage long after I’ve left the table.

Doug really took great care of me! He had some great techniques in getting the help I needed to hell re-​align my back! To make it short and sweet, I came in with a tense feeling in my lower back and shoulders area and his hands did some magic and was able to loosen them up.
It’s been two days now and I’m still feeling incredible! I highly recommend him and his wife, I’m sure she does wonders, as well!
The reason it’s not 5 stars is silly but I tend to be honest with my reviews and it’s that the lotion they use gave off an interesting odor. Wasn’t like a bad scent or anything but I think I like non-​scented lotion. Would this stop me from coming back? Heeeeeeelllllllll no! Lol! I know I’ll be back because of the amazing customer service and high level of personal attention to my needs and wants. The lotion is a very small negative in my book!

If you like deep tissue and someone who is really in-​tune to what you specifically needs, go see Douglas. He’s amazing!

Called in for a last minute appointment this morning and they fit me in this afternoon. Great massage by Douglas that focused on the painful spots in my lower back, hips, and neck. He sent me off with tips on stretching to help prevent the tightness in the future. 4 stars only because of the difficulty in finding the door to their office.

first time at bodywise today and was worked on by doug. addressed all of my concerns, excellent technique, my right knee and hips felt much better afterwards! you can tell his specialty is injury treatment, really aiming for results. fantastic work, very technical but felt great. My first visit to Bodywise was yesterday afternoon, after being recommended by my chiropractor. The lobby/​waiting area was something left to be desired. It was dingy and dank. To be honest, I was a little worried, but then Cindy, the massage therapist, kindly welcomed me to the clinic. She brought be back to the massage room, which was a stark contrast to their waiting area. It was warm and relaxing. Cindy really knows how to address trouble areas. In my experience a lot of massage therapists seem to massage over those spots without really getting in there. Cindy knew what she was doing and it was one of the greatest massages I’ve ever had!

I’ve been here a few times and Cindy is awesome. She gives a great deep tissue massage. When I leave I feel great. The reason I am leaving a «3» star is the layout of the building. The waiting rooms are in like a business building. It isn’t that inviting while you are waiting for your massage. If it wasn’t for Cindy I wouldn’t go back. The good thing is once you are in the room you forget about all that stuff and leave feeling relaxed.

I have been going to Bodywise Massage since it opened. I was a loyal client of Cindy Carmichael-​Taylor at the massage school she attended. I have had many different massage therapists over the years in a variety of offices. I have always been a believer in the many benefits of massage to maintain healthy ergonomics, so I have had a LOT of massages.
My first appointment all those years ago with Cindy was THE BEST massage I had ever received. I had acute neck pain that was causing a constant headache. She impressed me so much that she listened to my needs and focused the appointment around my chief concern. I had never had a massage that was so thorough and all-​around awesome. I had some soreness afterward but complete relief of my pain.
Since that day long ago I have never gone elsewhere. Cindy is extremely knowledgeable, professional and so comfortable to be around it makes every appointment wonderful. I had regular prenatal massages through my pregnancy and after when new baby = uncomfortable body. I have had hot stone massages, body wraps, facials, and a combination of many of her massage techniques. She is so intuitive and skilled I highly recommend her and will never go anywhere else.

I bought the groupon for a 1 hour massage… I called two weeks before it expired and there were no times available. I spoke with an employee who simply said, «Sorry we’re full. We can’t honor the groupon after the 31^st.» Seriously? I’m sorry, if you can’t support the volume of buyers, then you shouldn’t offer a groupon.
I would have loved to have made an appointment sooner, unfortunately I wasn’t able to. I guess I’ll know for next time. I just blew $ 40 on something I can’t even use now. $ 40 for a now 30 minute massage is not a deal. No thank you.

Booked an appointment and got Doug Taylor, it was one of the BEST massages ever!
Hot Stones, special attention to my requests & enjoyable banter made a fantastic massage ever better.

My husb and I went in today for massages. We got the Unilocal deal, $ 39.00 for a one hour massage. Well, we didnt save that much, they have lowered the rates now and its $ 45.00 for a one massage, not $ 60 as posted on Unilocal.
My husb had Cindy and he said she was great. He felt FANTASTIC!
I had Diane. She did great, but she liked to talk alot and it was hard to relax and completely unwind. She did make my back feel better.
