I tried D & V because it’s the closest nail shop to my house. I wanted this to be my new nail spot. When I got there, the tech were doing each others nails. I get it. It was a Wed. afternoon and there was only one other customer. The shop seemed a bit dark and basic. I don’t know if it was the nail polish or the tech but my coats of polish on my nails were not even and they were spots and smudges. I wanted to give them a good review so I’ve waited a week but this is the highest rating I can give. They were super nice to my 3 year old daughter and even did a cute little flower design on her nails for free but my nails were shotty at best. Not going back.

D & V Nails is one of the better nail salons in University Place. Outside of going to a full service salon/spa, this place is definitely one of your better options. The nail techs are friendly and salon is slightly above average for cleanliness. Really, this place only gets an extra star on default because so many of the nearby nail shops are so nasty.
I’ve only been here for manicures and pedicures and feel they’ve done the job well every time. Slightly more expensive than their competitors.
