This place is awesome. Fresh fresh fresh food that is healthy and the prices are decent. The staff is super hip and young and the atmosphere is cool. Highly recommended.

This place reminds me so much of Hawaii with the plate lunch style selections. It was exciting to walk in here and see the rice, meat, veggie style plate lunches. The one big reason my wife and I decided to try this place out was simply because when you type in poke’ on Unilocal, this is really the only place that has it. She’s a HUGE fan of it. You can’t really expect Hawaii quality poke’ in Florida, that’s just not fair, but you know what? It was pretty darn good. We both ordered the five bowl. You essentially get a choice of one side, two veggies, and two proteins, along with a choice of sauce. I got the spicy rice(not spicy though), parmesan broccoli, green beans, almond chicken, and citrus chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious! The almond chicken was my favorite. They are basically chicken tenders, but with a fantastic almond crunch batter. The citrus chicken was exactly what you’d expect. Citrus. Chicken. The veggies were cooked very well, and the broccoli is a must try! The sauces were just okay. They weren’t anything that blew me away, and there are a total of five to choose from. We tried two of them, and neither were very complimenting to the food we had. The drink options are severely limited to only three. They were… different. Not bad, but not anything that I would order again. I’d love to come back and try more of their protein options in the future. It’s a unique take for a restaurant here in Florida, but it’s a nice slice of Hawaii-like plate lunches. One quick note: How to pronounce Poke’(read po-kay). We couldn’t help but giggle when the employees kept saying pokey.

Great concept We made a visit to Fresh Kitchen this evening. I had looked over the website and learned about selecting different types of food to go into a bowl. When we walked in it was probably obvious it was our first time. A cheerful person greeted us and was very willing to help us. My wife got a menu to look over and I learned where to start. Once we got to where the bowls are filled with food, we were greeted again by another upbeat person who helped us select our bowl size, our basees, vegetables, proteins, and sauce. When we were done we both had bowls of food, and even with our learning curve it was a quick process. For mine I chose bowl #6, which allowed me to select two base ingredients, I selected a spicy rice and a sweet potato mash. For my two veggies I went with roasted mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. For my two proteins I had their BBQ chicken and a citrus chicken. I also picked a white cream sauce that I used but didn’t need to, because the stuff in my bowl was very good on its own. Every ingredient stood on its own and it all worked well together. They promote themselves as healthy, and if you can mix healthy and delicious together you really have something. Of our entire visit the only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t offer Coke or Pepsi products. I live for diet Code. They had a few serve yourself drink options, whatever I selected I didn’t like.

Staff was very helpful to us, a large group that had not dined here before. It’s a great place for a large party because each person goes through the line, orders, and pays separately. Prices are very reasonable. There was plenty of seating on a Saturday evening. The concept of tossing several items into a bowl isn’t my idea of fine dining. I found most of the items void of much flavor. It is however a convenient, cost efficient venue that is considered a «healthy» option.

Fresh, fast, and healthy! It’s a place where you order 4 or 6 items into a bowl(ex. 2 bases, 1 veggie, 1 protein). You can’t go wrong with the coconut rice, quinoa, sweet potato noodles, Brussels sprouts, and any type of chicken(grilled citrus, pesto, BBQ, almond crusted to just name a few).

This newly opened place has a great concept– providing healthy, nutritious, and tasty build your own bowls for a decent price and made quickly. However, I think that they still need to work out the kinks and improve the execution. You get to choose either a chefs special bowl or create your own bowl with 2 bases and 1 or 2 veggies and protein and sauce. While there is a large variety for the bases(I got a delicious chilled quinoa and kale), I wish that they had more options for the veggies. The veggie options are all roasted, and I wish they would have some fresh veggies. What I did like was that they had poke tuna as a protein option($ 1.50 add on), but again, I think some fresh veggies would go better with it than mushrooms or Parmesan broccoli would. In terms of flavor, a lot of the cooked additions were burnt. My brother had steak which was a little burnt, as were the mushrooms and broccoli. The roasted Brussel sprouts I had as my veggie add on were undercooked and hard to chew. However, the poke tuna was really fresh and delicious. Overall, this is a great option if you want a quick, healthy lunch, and hopefully they will improve the food preparation a little!

Went here around the time of the grand opening. Quick serve restaurant, fresh ingredients. I got the pre made buffalo bowl which was very health conscious. Had chicken, grain rice, buffalo cauliflower(which was cooked perfectly) and another ingredient or two. It was excellent and last two meals. I would def go back of looking for a healthy lunch option. I would prob try the seared tuna next time

Great food. I could eat here every day, 3 times a day. Clever idea and rotating options. Can’t wait until they publish nutritional information.

Pros: Sweet potato noodles FTW! All sauces are good. BBQ chicken is the best meat. Cons: AllJuices are pricey, and the rice is mediocre.

Really tasty on every level except those damn veggies they can’t perfect. The broccoli is undercooked… and all stems, buffalo cauliflower undercooked and not great buffalo sauce, the carrots were tasty but hard as they too were undercooked. The Brussel sprouts are their genius veggie item and they were out today. Grrrr. Bases are Delish. My go to is brown rice and kale. Add brussel sprout or green beans and coconut sriracha sauce. The sauces are 5 star worthy. Holy kale is holy heaven, sriracha coconut enters my dreams at night, balsamic is drinkable. This food is so good I drive to Lakewood ranch to get it. The only other thing that brings me here is Total Wine. 4 stars is because uncooked veggies = meh and they don’t give you the nutritional breakdown. Is it really healthy?

I could go to this place daily and I think I managed four trips in one week. Delicious food. Huge servings. Healthy options. My favorite proteins were the almond baked chicken and the BBQ chicken. They’re delicious! If you aren’t super hungry, consider the kid’s meal. It’s the perfect size for lunch.

I think it’s safe to say that as of today Fresh Kitchen is my new favorite restaurant. Why: 1. Fresh 2. Gluten-free 3. Dairy-free 4. Sugar-free 5. Nut-free 6. Fresh juice 7. Great options 8. Amazing service 9. Brown rice crispy treats & paleo cookies(I didn’t try them this time) I ordered the four bowl w/kale slaw & sweet potato noodles, roasted brussel sprouts, grilled chicken, & herb balsamic vinaigrette. I didn’t know what to expect(since I didn’t sample anything as suggested) but everything was amazing! Wish it were closer(as in next door… LBVS) can’t wait to go back. The four bowl was very filling, I had leftovers(update: I just had my leftovers & it was just as good as earlier). I hope everyone else loves it as much as I do & the quality remains consistent.

2 words: SIMPLYAMAZING! My co-worker and I stopped here on a work trip from Naples and were blown away. The food is delicious. Fresh… Way better than expected. Their ginger lemonade is to die for! On our way home, 3 days later, we had to stop again for lunch! We ended up getting a family meal each to take home. The food has NOCHEMICALS, reasonable priced, wicked fresh, and an absolute fun place to dine in. We kept telling them to bring this idea to Naples… And to top it off, the staff was amazing. Especially BROOKE! I ended up buying a t-shirt because it was insanely adorable too! Must go. Bottom line.

What a great concept. And healthy fresh flavorful similar to chipotle. this place looks like it would be Paleo friendly. Pick your bases like kale, Quinoa, rice. And then you pick your veggies proteins and sauces. It’s a great place to come if you want to eat clean and get flavorful food and a quick service fashion.

I’ve had my eye on this place, I think it’s been open a short time. Fresh kitchen yes but no mention of organic, but organic is rare. Lunch and dinner only $ 10 can’t beat that! You get 2 base 2 proteins 2 veggies for that price and all the veggies look excellent. First time there I have ordered Veggie Quinoa, kale slaw, mushrooms, roasted brussels sprouts with chia tofu and Almond chicken. All the selections are delightfully seasoned. Healthier than most places and sinfully yummy! Definitely my new weekly grab & go joint!

This restaurant and idea is genius! Fresh and healthy food cooked right in front of you and you get to make your own bowl or meal… How could you not love this place. For this type of eating establishment(think upscale malls, tourist areas, Nyc street) I give a top rating as the whole concept is perfect. The owners have multiple locations and other more formal restaurants. I only hope they branch out some more in the New York and northern NJ area as the market is there! Great food and a fun atmosphere to grab lunch!

The«six» bowl to go. I chose steak & tuna poke(both an extra $ 1.50) parmesan broccoli, quinoa, kale slaw, roasted mushrooms and a side of herb vinaigrette so good! The steak was cooked perfectly, tender as well as flavorful! They offer you a sauce, which was delicious, but this bowl doesn’t even«need» it! Each of my components were well seasoned and tasted great on their own. Combined the way I wanted, was a dream! Along the assembly of the bowl there were four smiling faces(and opinions) I gathered as to what would go best. My only note would be that they don’t seem to have a lot of veggie options that go with the tuna poke, next time I’ll just be getting a smaller bowl, but next time will be soon!

For what this is, it rocks! This is the new concept of selecting various components to construct your own meal. You start by selecting your size bowl(no plates).First is the base(salads or glass noodles). Then add your choices of vegetables. Then the proteins, and finally the sauces and any extras. My wife’s «4 Bowl», $ 7.95, was very satisfying and filling for her. My «6 Bowl», $ 9.95, with the addition of tomatoes and feta cheese(+ $ 2.00) was also very satisfying and filling. Everything was very flavorful. Staff is eager to let you try items before making your selection. There’s no alcohol served(but, if you ask the manager nicely. …see my tip). We texted our friends who live nearby that they MUST check this new place out(opened day after Thanksgiving). In the words of General MacArthur & Governor Schwarzenegger«we will be back!»

While the healthy food is appreciated and the see through cooler shows all the fresh veg I found the staff to lack experience. Food looked very dry. It was tasty but it was like it was sitting too long. We were rushed through the small line and found the same as another reviewer that one staff member was asking what we wanted before the other was finished. The cashier was in the moon and even charged us for the customer behind without asking. Then left our food in the back and we had to reach over and grab it as he just left without even saying anything. Then as we were filling our drinks they came over and mentioned that they over charged us. Took my credit card and returned. No receipt so I can only assume I was charged correctly this time. My wife loved it while I just did not care for it and probably won’t return unless the staff improves. Maybe just opening week fumbles but I think the opening week needs to be stellar otherwise bad marks stick.
