Omar treated us so nice and helped us with our purchase. The place was clean and inviting. We had a wonderful time

We chose to visit Zen Zone for water massages in lieu of dessert after dinner at Hard Rock! The massages were nothing short of amazing and we also bought the massage mitts with the metal rolling balls and the analgesic spray. I was in CA on vacation, but if I can’t find a place like this locally I will make sure the Universal City Walk Zen Zone is on my itinerary when I return to LA. I am a most satisfied customer!

Not locals and were treated like superstars by the lovely Omar.

My boyfriend and I took the 10 min Aqua massage and the 10 min oxygen bar. The Aqua massage was full so Omar, being the nicest person he is, informed us that we can do the oxygen bar first and then do it again after our massage. The oxygen bar seemed a while so I believe they were at least 10 min each time my boyfriend and I used it. While doing the oxygen bar, he provided us with free usage of the hang rolling massage (which was my favorite), the heating shoulder pad, chiropractic signal machine (no idea what it’s really called), and some really good scented oils.
When it was time for the Aqua massage, it was definitely bliss. It hit the right spots on my body just right especially my feet and when I woke up my body was so relaxed I could feel myself falling asleep.
We had such a great time especially with Omar that I’d come again before I leave back home!

This place is excellent, staff is super friendly, letting you try on different stuffs while waiting for the others on the water machine! Special thanks to Omar, this guy is amazing! He is super polite and willing to help at all time! I will definitely ask the others to come and try!

I always stop for a water pounding and some O2 before hopping on the fourteen hour flight home. O2 comes with massages from staff and fills the time before the tables are free. My kids really wanted to try the O2 and were thrilled when we got it free because there was going to be a long wait on the table.

Finally getting around to writing this review. Absolutely amazing experience! We paid for a basic package and felt like we got the royal treatment! Gordana was beyond amazing, took such good care of us, ask for her if you come here! And she was helpful in showing and demonstrating to us all the gadgets they had to offer. She was fun to talk to and made this experience really worth coming back for! Will be going back for sure!

I was skeptical and to be honest it looks dorky.
Get ur self past that and go– for me I was more clear headed and alert than i can recall — additionally the extra O2 allowed me to sleep quite well.

OK… Holy Eff, this place is amazing!!! First off and most important, Gordana is amazing, so essentialy this post is mostly about her and how amazing she treated us. If you come here, ask for her if you can. I came here about 8 or 9 years ago and it was fantastic. This time, they exceeded my expectations and then some. I got the royal treatment in every way. I only got the revive package but with the customer service I received I felt like I got their most expensive elaborate package. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.

Went to City Walk yesterday and stopped at Zen Zone because I am a fan of massages and I’ve never had a water massage before. I tried the Aqua massage and it was awesome. I loved it and I’m already planning another visit this week. It’s a must try.

Just walked by this place a few times and the guys invited us in and eventually we tried it and loved it! They were so welcoming and even massaged us a little. Loved the interesting feeling of the oxygen and you got to choose your flavors.

Was a great place to come and relax after walking around the Universal Studios park! Went in feeling tired and a bit of back pain, and came out feeling refreshed without any pain. Very good massage, and would do it again in a heart beat!

I’ve done a couple oxygen bars before and this one was underwhelming. There wasn’t much smell at all coming from the tubes, and they quickly and haphazardly massage you with random things. It was VERY loud in there, which makes sense since it is on the Citywalk, but in an ideal world this place (or the Oxygen areas) would be a little more secluded without blaring loud techo music. The last one I went to, had headphones you listen to, and dim lighting and the flavors were pretty strong. Nothing «bad» about this place– it just wasn’t my favorite. The people working there were very nice!

This place was AWESOME! Orian was so helpful and hospitable with demonstrating the many gadgets that Zen Zone had to offer! Tonight we did the oxygen bar service, and midway, my friend and I switched machines to try the other flavors. There are 4 flavors to a machine so 8 total. You can adjust the knobs to create your own «oxygen cocktail». Rosemary-​Mint+ Eucalyptus+ a dash of vanilla was my favorite. We unfortunately got there 25 minutes before they closed, but if we had more time we would have definitely jumped into the Aqua massage machine! The only downer part about this location is that its located in City Walk, so parking was $ 10. If you’re planning on going here, its worth the trip, but I highly recommend allowing yourself a little more time to hang out and check out the rest of the scene.

I had an amazing time here with my best-​friend. We loved it! The eucalyptus and strawberry was my favorite! They have very nice employees.

This was the silliest, most indulgent thing me and my boyfriend have ever done and we loved it. Yes it smells/​tastes amazing, yes the attendants do spring various massage tools on you by surprise massage attack, yes it’s a teeny bit pricey. But worth it? Absolutely!

I’m always up for new things, but this was kind of bizarre.
Don’t get me wrong, I love massages, and I wish could get them almost every week if I had the time and money to do it so often but I can’t.
You basically get into this pod-​like spaceship and you lay face down into the head rest and jets of water move back and forth. I didn’t really enjoy it because I didn’t really feel the ‘massage’ effect. I guess I was hoping for more of a deep tissue but this was just water blasting at me.
I paid $ 20 for 15 minutes, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Best place to relax, and the manager is very nice come here~!

I was walking down the Universal CityWalk with my brother when an employee in front of the Zen Zone offered us a free water massage or free use of the oxygen bar. This was the same offer that I had received every other time I had walked by this establishment for the last several years, but for some reason I never accepted the offer until today. I don’t know what I was waiting for!
My experience with the water massage was at first underwhelming. Fully clothed and feeling kind of silly, I let the machine do its thing, but it tickled more than massaged. After a few minutes an employee stopped the demonstration and started fiddling with the machine, trying to increase the water pressure. Unable to do so, he moved me to a different machine. This machine was much better than the first one! The water pressure was strong enough to really work on my muscles and relax me. The demo was supposed to be only 10 minutes or so, but I’m sure I was in there longer than that. By the time it was over, I was beginning to wish I could take the water massage machine home with me! I was really impressed.
Feeling like I had already taken advantage of their free offer, I was ready to head out and continue my walk with my brother, but the helpful and enthusiastic employees at the Zen Zone had something else in mind. They let us try the oxygen for free too while demonstrating some of their other massaging products (including a Head Massager – a bizarre looking device with 12 wires that make you feel amazing while looking ridiculous).
By the time my brother and I left I was completely relaxed and the pain I often feel in my lower back was gone. Overall my experience was very positive. I highly recommend the Zen Zone.

You can try their Oxygen bar or get a water massage fully clothed. You can buy «Happy Hands» that’ll make it easier for you to give your significant other a massage, you can pick up sports spray that works like Bengay. You can pick up scented rocks to enliven your room. It’s a store about relaxation and self love (No, dude… not *THAT* kind of self love!)
My wife and I spent about 30 minutes here and sucked on some oxygen for a while and although I’m not really sure I buy the whole concept, I did feel more relaxed. The guy behind the counter even massages your scalp which may sound a little gay but whatever… that scalp massager he uses kicks some serious ass.
We didn’t try the water jet massage machine though… The concept’s good. I’m just not sure how long they’ll last cuz they gotta be paying fat rent to be there and the place wasn’t particularly packed. Still, it’s a nice way to break up your day and take a relaxing timeout.
