the last few times i’ve came here the place looks dirty. in a way it kinda always was. the floors r disgusting. it smells like feet towards the bar area. its sad that it came to this review. they were a favorite. but a few dishes i liked on their menu they dont have anymore. plus the salad bar always looks empty or their food looks dry. i dunno if i ever go back it will be a while. i’ve never gotten sick from them thank god but it just looks dirty.

See photo for picture of what $ 8 worth of cheese fries amounts to when you place an order for pickup. Last time we received a decent portion, but this time idk. There’s been issues in the past with them over cooking my take out: dry chicken and burnt cheese. Now and days when I call ahead, I say don’t over cook it please. No problem. Then there was the 2 times when the waiter charged twice for the same purchase so dining in’s out the question. The Paramus location is far better. I think I’m done with them after getting jipped.

This is my first time going here with my family. And I must say, that I was pleasantly surprised!!! Everything was great. The appetizers, the meal and the drinks are the lol! Will become one of my regular spots. With the drinks, you can add on an extra shot for either $ 1, $ 2 or $ 3. I’ve really enjoyed myself and the family too. And the staff were great and attentive!

1 star is too many for this place. The rudest staff I think I have ever experienced. We came in on a Monday at 7:45PM. The hostess ignored us completely even though we were the only people standing in front of her. I say«hello!» and she completely ignores us. Finally after us staring in disbelief at this brazen rudeness for almost a minute, I say«table for 2 please.» She glances up, grabs menus and gestures for us to follow her. No smile, no «welcome,» just complete blatant and disgusting attitude. You work in the service industry honey… you can’t treat people however you want whenever you feel like it. We then waited over 10 minutes for our waiter to notice that we were there. I should mention that we were not the only people here… there were at least 8 – 10 other tables around us. 40 minutes after placing our(easy) order we still had no food, but people who came in after us did. Not only are we obviously never coming back, I will make it a new life mission to tell everyone I know in the area never to come to this establishment. Train your staff.

Ruby Tuesday is one of my «chain» favorites particularly due to the salad bar. We both had special orders for our burgers and everything came out right and was also tasty. Our server seemed a little off on her game and had to be reminded about things like drinks and refills. She was however very pleasant. Pulling into the parking lot can be a little tricky so I suggest entering thru the first entrance to the lot rather than the one closer to the restaurant.

I love the white cheddar mash potatoes. I always enjoy my food here. I’m not sure how it is when it’s crowded or if it ever gets crowded. I’m always there at odd hours like noon or 2pm.

The food was good, we enjoyed it. but service was very very slow. I went there with a few friends about a month ago. There were only about 4 other tables with customers, the rest of the place was empty. We only ordered dinner and drinks. with all the waiting it took us 2 and a half hours to get out of there! There were delays getting our drinks(just beer or soda on tap), our food took forever to come out. It took a while for them to hand us the check. to run our credit cards. delays everywhere. The restaurant was empty! 4 other tables. We do enjoy the ribs there. but do plan on being there several hours if you go.

I have a lot of experience eating at this establishment and there are ups and downs. Let’s start with the ups, the food is very delicious and the menu has a lot to offer a wide range of pallets, the burgers imperticularly are very tasty. The negatives are as follows: service is slow as a tortoise with no head, when the restaurant appears empty they still cant seat you?(happened three separate times) I am assuming the staffing is low but its always like this. There are several hostesses that have the social prowess of a shrew and act like your bothering them when you ask for help. The manager there is kind hearted and you can tell she sincerely cares, but doesn’t have enough people to run the place right. Bottom line if you can wait a while for your food it is a tasty meal but not without some annoyances.

Just didn’t like the food here. All the selections are fattening greasy choices, there isn’t anything healthy here. The tortilla soup was bad. The green bean appetizer was very oily. The chicken strips were burned. The waiters are decent, but the place is filthy.

We’ve been here a couple of times in the past. It seems that whenever we walked in, we’ve always got the impression that business was kind of slow since we didn’t see a huge portion of the tables filled. Some more tables were filled up later as the evening went on, but a general amount still remained empty. Sure we may have walked in a little early, but when we dined at another chain restaurant last month at around the same time, we encountered a wait. At least we didn’t have an overall bad experience. We got seated and waited for 15 minutes until our waiter showed up. That was kind of slow to start. He had a positive attitude throughout our experience, though. We placed our orders and then proceeded to the salad bar. The salad bar included romaine and iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, and cucumbers. Various toppings included shredded cheese, bacon and ham pieces, and more. Of course we couldn’t forget about the assortment of salad dressings. Everything looked and tasted fresh. As we ate our salads, our entrees arrived. This was also within 15 minutes. I had the medium-well Asiago Peppercorn Sirloin Steak. It was a steak that was topped with a Parmesan cream cheese sauce and Asiago cheese shavings. I really enjoyed this! It was flavorful and juicy and wasn’t salty. Based on the flavor that I tasted, it was clear to me that the peppercorns were in there, but hidden. This entrée came with a choice of two sides(basic is inclusive, premium is $ 1 extra), or one side with the inclusive salad bar option. I chose the french fries as the one side option, along with the salad bar. The fries were just okay and tasted a little crispy, but I wasn’t sure on whether or not this was fresh. My dad had the same entrée as I did, but with onion rings, and he enjoyed it. My mom had a seafood entrée, also with onion rings, and she enjoyed it too. We were also served with the small cheddar biscuits. It tasted bland and a little sweet. But what we really mattered was whether or not we enjoyed our main entrees, and we did. A manager came by to see if everything was cool, and it was. This is located inside the Union Plaza Shopping Center. If we didn’t order the salad bar option, we may have waited a while for our food to arrive without eating anything else. I take away one star for that reason. But since we enjoyed the food a lot, and our waiter exhibited a positive attitude, we will plan to come back later on.

I’m giving RT a high rating because it works very well for me. It has the best salad bar in NJ. Wonderful the freshest spinach and arugula, brilliant tomatoes, potato and pasta salads, sensational croutons, premium add-ons like roasted sunflower seeds and raisins, and so many quality dressings. My teen sons each have an adult meal they like, each under $ 12. One then orders the salad bar as one of his two sides, and I use this salad plate as my full meal at no extra cost. I am not dishonest about this– when the servers ask me if I am ordering a meal, I say I will just have my son’s salad and a beer. The servers only smile. The desserts are the best for a chain, by a mile. And they are huge servings, each one easily more than enough for two adults. And, no place has less expensive quality alcoholic drinks. A 22oz(1.3pt) Sam Adams special Winter Ale was less than $ 6 RT does not draw a a high-brow crowd, and walking past people gorging themselves on salad is not elegant. But I can always get a table there and the food has never disappointed and the drinks are superb.

I do not recommend this location to anyone. Im quite unsure how theyre still in business. First time, i tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. But one or two times after that, umm NO! Its just not clean. At all. I wish new jersey restaurants were required to have grades on the window like those in new york. Any time i’ve gone to this location its been solely out of convenience. Dirty(ridiculously long) tablecloths, dirty booths, dirty silverware. Smh the service sucks. Food is mediocre. Best thing is the salad bar.

Our food was just okay. Got the Chicken Avocado Sandwich. It was nothing out of the ordinary. There was nothing bad about it either. The fries were cooked ahead of time and placed under a heat lamp. Those could have been fresher . All in all it was just okay.

My wife and I stop here occasionally. The food not bad but they need to step up there game on cleaning. We usually sit at the bar and did not sit in our usual spot because bar top was dirty. We were the only ones sitting at the bar and the only clean spot. The bar person was nice but was spending her time doing take out orders, serving bar tables, and counting her tips rather than cleaning the bar.

I do not particularly care for Ruby Tuesdays. The décor is mediocre and it was pretty empty. The only plus here was the all day $ 5 cocktail, the salad bar, and the bartender who was also our waitress. I order a burger with shrimp, queso dip, and the salad bar for $ 2.99. The new Orlean i think its called was a pretty good burger. The burger was fresh and the shrimp in it tasted great. The queso dip tasted like queso spinach dip but i really liked up. The chips were stale and hard to chew. It made great queso bad. Thr salad bar had something for everyone. I enjoyed that. Even with the friendly staff. I am not so much a fan still.

When we arrived we were seated quickly, and given adequate time to place our order. While it took pretty long for the food to arrive to the table(ordered a bacon pretzel burger and apple cider fizz) the waitress was very friendly and offered free refills and even a free side of fries because of our wait. Couldn’t pass on the dessert, the red velvet cheesecake was fantastic. I will be back

I love Unilocal.I use it to find restaurants when in a unfamiliar area. I have never reviewed before. This time I felt I must. We don’t normally eat at chain restaurants but were on Rt. 22, and very hungry. My daughter asked to go to Ruby Tuesdays, so we did. The entire place needs a deep cleaning. The carpeting is filthy. I also caught a hint of a urine smell. My husband assured me it must have been on a fellow customer. and not in the restaurant. After being seated and ordering, it still smelled. The waitress wS nice and very attentive. Much toy surprise the good was not bad. Unfortunately I could not enjoy it since I was so grossed out. Pass this one up. Try somewhere else, route 22 is full of restaurants.
