Food was good but the portions were very small. I can go to other Portuguese places and get twice as much for the same price

Delicious! A very casual spot that was warm and with very good service. The appetizers were so good! Garlic shrimp, salads, chorizo. All entrees were huge and not a bad one was ordered by our large group. It is a BYOB as well. Go if you are in the mood for Portuguese food.

I have known about this place since I was a kid because one of my teachers’ wife owns it. I always heard good things but never really started going until a few years ago. All I can say is that I wish I tried it sooner. If your in the mood for Portuguese bbq cuisine or even a sandwich or salad they are great for it! The portions are generous and the ½ or full platters are shareable:) The garlic shrimp is amazing and my personal favorite when I order from here. Plus their fries/chips are freshly cut and made there. If your from the area it’s time to say good bye to Burnet BBQ and see what you’ve been missing.

I LOVE it here. It’s pretty casual and laid back. Food is fresh and food portions are pretty huge. Delicious and a good bang for your buck. Also its byo which is also easy on the wallet :)

The guy that served us was way to friendly, always came back to check on, us best service by far. And if I talk about how good the food is ill be talk forever, all I have to say is that that food is amazing, better than any burnet barbecue spot, acutally ten times better. Will be coming back like twice a week

Quaint little gem I stumbled on in my travels. I needed a rather quick lunch, and this place is like a step up from a deli. I went with the Capri salad with fresh mozzarella and rep peppers, and added chicken salad which was awesome; very light on the mayo, with chunks of apple, cranberries, celery and onions. I was happy with my choice, and in and out in half an hour. I saw plenty of people coming in and out picking up lunch orders they had phoned it. Easy to find, and parking right behind or on the street.

I love the Codfish Lagareiro style and my wife enjoys the Sunny Fiesta(pulled chicken with vegetables and sunny side-up egg). Meanwhile, a great take-out option for the family is the Pork Picadinho which is served in good portion. Outside patio is available on warm Summer nights. Great place with quick friendly service!

I don’t know why it took us so long to try this place, but I’m glad we finally did. I had the BBQ combo, chicken and beef ribs, and he had the grilled cod steak. Both were excellent — fresh and well seasoned. My house made chips were perfect, his red potatoes, peppers and onions were delicious, if a little oily. Service was good, and the room was not fancy, but a pleasant place to have a nice BYOB meal.

I went there for the first time yesterday and had a great lunch to go. The picanha with rice and beans with house salad was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. I will return with my family for some of their house special plates!

I went here the first time on Monday to pick up a takeout order, would come back again, chicken and the ribs very moist, including the breat meat which i normally find dry in other places, the chips were outstanding, rice and black beans also very tasty.

I am never disappointed when I go to Patio! Service is always friendly and food is always on point. The shrimp in garlic sauce entrée with rice & beans + chips or fries(depending on the mood) makes my mouth water and heart skip a beat! I highly recommend! Also, the house salad with Salmon on top is a healthy delight!

This is a very delightful find after my fellow residents and I wanted to eat something on our getaway from the hospital. The place is very Portuguese-American! The bread that accompanies your meal is perfect — so soft, with the perfect powdered crust! Even better — brunch all day! I ordered the Portuguese omelette, and it was so delicious! I also love the sauce that came with the home fries — it had just the perfect kick to it. Coffee is great, egg tarts are good. I have to think about when I would be coming to this neighborhood again… it’s really that good.

little hint from outside that the place is Portuguese, but inside one discovers the menu has many Portuguese items interspersed with some American food. bife a portuguesa(steak in garlic sauce with ham and an egg surrounded by freshly made potato chips), bolo de bacalhau(a little fried codfish pastry), and serradura(a dessert which is kinda look a Portuguese cookies and cream) were all pretty good. the charming young waitress was very friendly and courteous. pretty nice interior decorated with old black and white photos of Life in Portugal. lots of Portuguese and Brazilian customers. they have churrasco. plenty of desserts including pastel de nata, and she makes a nice cafezinho

This was our first visit, but not our last. We both ordered the rib eye special but had them prepare it with a fried egg on top. They call this Bitoque, I call it delicious. For sides we ordered rice and beans, home made chips and mixed vegetables. The steaks were cooked to perfection. We enjoyed every bite. The diner at the next table ordered the tilapia and she seemed to love that, as well! Our waiter, Louis, put us at ease instantly and we really enjoyed the whole experience at this cute little eatery. The restaurant is spotless(this is a key ingredient for us). It is unpretentious and has a great vibe. I think we have a new favorite restaurant!

My food was good, the steak was slightly over done but it was still very good. The portions are well worth your dollar! My wife ordered a fish dish that was STELLAR! The staff is very nice and it’s BYOB so it’s a nice place to come relax and have some good food

Second time here. They close early for dine in — 8.30 pm so last seating is at 8pm. Came around 7 on Friday. It was initially empty but around 7.30 the place was packed! Bitoque bitoque bitoque! Grilled steak topped with sunny side up egg topped with a mountain of home made chips. And there is the brown sauce. SOGOOD. Had fish here too… Definitely moist and tender but honestly I think next time both of us will each order a bitoque. BYOB.

Love the food, my favorite is the Chicken a la jade(chicken and shrimp dish with a creamy sauce) — my favorite thing about this place is their Spanish chips. I can eat them all day. Plus I can order a fresh shot of espresso to go! I usually order this with coworkers(I work in Union) — they deliver, but because they make everything fresh to order, it takes a little longer to get the food. Call early to order in case they are busy.

My co-worker is on first name basis with the owner(Sandra). It’s an ok spot. The sunny fiesta is good. I’m a sucker for dishes with fried egg top over anything. The Portuguese fried are awesome but I refuse to eat it. I enjoy having lunch here ignoring my co-working and catching up on my news from cnn from the flat screen.
