Junie Moon’s

Very nicely decorated. Loved our waitress. Food was excellent. I had a burger and my wife had the French dip sandwich – both were big and tasty. Highly recommended.

I have the garden omelette and country potatoes! It is delicious, their breakfast closes at 11! I’ve also had their salads which are pretty good as well

I love Junie Moon’s, and I go there every chance I get! I love to eat there for breakfast on the weekends, lunch, and dinner. The service is great at Junie Moon’s and the atmosphere is fun. It is a wonderful place to dine.

Junie Moon has the modern Country Café thing DOWN! Huge Portions at very reasonable prices, with great down-​home service in a cute medium sized location.
We dined there on Saturday, March 7, 2015, and we were very happy we did. We were in town at a band competition, and I had been hearing about Junie Moon for some time. We invited some other folks to go as well, which they did later on that night, and they were very happy as well.
I had a great Cheddar BBQ Burger (on some great upscale roll), my wife had a French Dip, and my Daughter the Buffalo Wrap (which also provided lunch the next day for her with what was left!) We also enjoyed some very good Fried Pickles.
All the servers were experienced and dedicated, working very hard with the unexpected amount of business the band competition brought.
I felt for the owner, as the credit card machine went down, but he was a trooper dealing with what folks could do and letting folks send him checks if they did not have cash to cover.
Junie Moon, we will be back, and we will tell others about you!

I’ve been there 4 or 5 times. I get the Roast Beef sandwich every time. I feel I can’t go there and not get it. I don’t get to Union but once a month so if we go there I actually crave the roast beef as we drive up HWY 50. The beef is SO tender it’s like it was cooked for days. the bread is delicious. homemade chips nice and crisp. Can’t wait to go again. maybe one day I’ll try something else.

Unfortunately, my husband and I did not receive the quality of food that other reviewers have written about. I had a pepperpot soup and a turkey club sandwich. The soup was completely tasteless. For the sandwich, I asked for whole wheat bread but received white bread. It was just a regular club sandwich I could have gotten anywhere – nothing special. My husband got the Big Moon Burger, which was very undercooked. He also had to get their «homemade chips» because for some reason, fries are not available until after 4:00 p.m. Those chips were greasy and over-​fried. Definitely not something either of us would order again.

Good food in good quantities. I liked their mashed potatoes. The person I went with got the meatloaf and it came in the form of essentially 2 giant meatballs, which was unusual. Nice place, I would go there again.

I am always impressed when I enjoy a meal at Junie Moon. The staff is kind, and knowledgeable and the food is delicious! If you haven’t had the opportunity-​try the breakfast. Highly recommended!

Junie Moons is my favorite café in town. I eat here a lot and the food is always great along with the serves.
