We used Irene’s tailoring service once and she did a very good job tailoring two of my husbands pants.

I have had several items tailored by Irene and I have been extremely satisfied with each.
2 pairs of pants hemmed and shortened (one tapered).
1 suit coat fitted.
The service was professional, fast, very well done, and very reasonably priced.
A pair of pants shortened and a suit jacket fitted only cost $ 45.00. This type of work can cost twice that much elsewhere.
I highly recommend to anyone! A real gem.

The Professional. I’ve been Irene’s patron for the last 3 years since fellow Unilocaler, Jose C. gave me his recommendation. I’m a true fan. I’ve been to tailors a lot closer to home but Irene’s work is just phenomenal. Her quaint establishment has 2 dressing rooms and one platform for fittings.
So far, I’ve gotten 4 pairs of dress pants shortened, 1 suit better fitted, 1 jumpsuit adjusted in the inseam (it was too crotchy), shortened in the pants and shoulder straps, and made smaller in the waist, and 2 cocktail dresses and 1 formal gown shortened, straps shortened, and made smaller in the torso and waist. Irene does not take short cuts. She knows how to work with all fabrics to have everything look custom-​made for you.
Today, she charged me a total of $ 18 for hemming 2 pairs of pants, paid on pick-​up. When pick-​up day arrives, I suggest calling before leaving for her place to make sure your order’s ready. One time, she stayed a little later than her business hours to accommodate me. For my brother, Irene has shortened sleeves on long-​sleeved dress shirts, fitted suits, hemmed pants, and replaced a bag zipper. Whatever the issue, Irene is up to the task and the real deal.
